Nah. Microsoft are just completely inept at executing the development of systems + games that sell vs the competition. All this from one of the world's biggest companies. The idea makes sense for Microsoft but its not like the games are going to be optimised for the switch platform. Sounds like a charlie foxtrot all for MS's benefit and that's it

None of the other main hardware providers have or could ever have the same cloud infrastructure as Microsoft. It cost billions to develop cloud data centres. Cloud gaming is the future, who knows how far it is away but give a company like Microsoft the right to buy a company that could deliver content from its clouds, then you are hastening the demise of the current era f gaming as we know it.
