Please let this be at least somewhat true. I'd kill for a Switch that can run games well. I hope it will have backwards compatibility, but developers should not be forced to put their games on the old Switch as well as the new Switch.
I'll believe it when I see it honestly. The Doom 2016 port was borderline unenjoyable, had horribly compressed sound, horrible frame pacing, horrible framerates, etc. They can tease us all they want but I am absolutely not going to believe them until I see gameplay. Panic button is really overrated, Saber Interactive has done a much better job with stuff like the Witcher 3 and Crysis remastered ports.
Lame. Nintendo will likely never add anything interesting such as themes or folders. They want as low of a system overhead as possible. I'm not saying that it's good though. Nintendo has really been dragging their butt since like, 2018.
I would much rather prefer playing at 720p 60fps on Switch rather than 900p 30fps. What games has Iron Galaxy helped work on? I've only known them from their awful console port of 7 Days to Die.
@gloom These people are going to hack the Switch because it is lacking a lot of features, no web browser, no emulation of retro games. (Gamecube, N64, ETC) If Nintendo doesn't do these things the hackers will. I'm not going to hack my Switch but I certainly can see why people would hack it.
I'll consider it phsically, but I'll never personally pay 60 dollars for it, especially since I bought it on the Wii U previously. I'm guessing the size increase is from more languages maybe? Maybe they updated the engine a little bit or something. We'll just have to wait until it releases.
@Moonlessky Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Nintendo publicly said that they'll never remove the Miiverse icon, it sucks in my opinion, it's like putting a picture of your dead dog right above your bed.
@Jacob1092 I remember how whenever my 3DS would update I'd be super excited to see if it actually added something useful. But I'd always be insanely dissapointed. I would scrounge the internet to see if the update actually did something, only to find out it was more protection from people attempting to homebrew the system. Little ol' me had no idea what that was at the time though so I was super confused.
Oh, YES! My 3DS is more stable! I'm sure the 3DS is actually more stable now. I bet this totally isn't more protection to stop people from homebrewing their system. Thanks Nintendo! My Switch isn't stable enough though. I want it to be more stable please!

Re: Hacker Praises Nintendo's Switch Security Efforts, But Says Console Is "Completely Compromised"
@dunnyone I agree, there is a lot of potential for the homebrew scene. It would be incredible for the games it can run Gamecube stuff.

@HappyMaskedGuy How does the Switch being hacked destroy it?
