It's so sad to see ppl justify & defend piss poor design choices in a series that already established its formula & mastered it 30yrs ago, bcuz they spent money on the product. It's like Nintendo doesn't know what to do anymore so they need to cater to ***** trends for ***** gamers that will play any slop thrown at them & be okay with turning a beloved dormant franchise into a clown show.
If you're a real Metroid fan you'd like the game of course for it's strengths but also give it the criticism it deserves! Metroid is not Breath Of The Wild, neither is Mario Kart or DK or Pokemon, yet every single one of these major Switch 2 releases has some type of open world exploration. MP4 is not Halo either, there's no need for a single godamn npc to be in the game, like MP1.
But that would require an actual honest effort, like MP1...
