@Dr_Lugae it's all relative though. Go back and look at those sales numbers during those times in light of that. They were orders of magnitude greater than what is being presented for July right now @ roughly 200k through the first 3 weeks
@DonnieTACO @Bigmanfan where did I say anything about 5.82 million? Also, rjejr already corrected you as well with an elaboration of my original point.
Copy pasta'd for your convenience: "Switch 2 sold 5.8mil by June 30th. Nintendo said 6mil by July 24, which is roughly 200k in 3 weeks."
@rjejr "So while the holidays means greater sales than 3 weeks in July, they can only sell what they can make."
Oh, they can make plenty don't worry about that. What the July numbers are already telling us is that sales are trending down. Fans will say they're trending down because the supply isn't there, but that's simply unfounded, or else Nintendo would say so (ala the Wii). Also, they never had any issue meeting demand for switch 1 at any point.
Occam's razor always and forever, the The simplest most straightforward answer is likely the correct one and that is that demand is slowing compared to June.

So, let me get this straight.
Nintendo has sold 6 million switch 2s in 2 months.
In the first 5 days of those 2 months they sold 3.5 million? So in the remaining several weeks after they've sold 2.5 million?
I'm no analyst but I'd say that's a trend pointing down, not up.
