I'm still hoping that canned Wii remastered version finds it's way on to the internet someday..

this is nothing new, remember Capcom announced the PS2 version of RE4 even before the GameCube game hit stores.

everything sounds better uncompressed, simply look up the Goldeneye 007 soundtrack uncompressed and you'll see.

I definitely think Nintendo of Japan played a role in blocking it's release, why? the deal was supposed to be that 360 would get the HD remaster with online functionalities and stuff whereas the Wii would only get the original N64 rom for the VC, honestly a shame cuz playing GE with updated graphics and wiimote support would've absolutely smoked the XBLA version out.

@Jhomesjones fully disagree, GE Wii was amazing it is the BEST shooter of the console and one of the best looking games. Hooked up my Wii to an HDTV and the Dam and Facility levels look fantastic, not sure about the splitscreen but the online multiplayer was amazing it had a very strong community and people are trying to revive it, aiming with the wiimote it made you feel that YOU are James Bond.
