@nesrocks Dude, as @Antraxx777 already said, that was not the time to be "above and beyond". That was the thing that Atari and company where doing for years at this point. Nintendo needed to be as sincere and direct to the consumer as they could. Using the japanese box art already available and slapping the "Nintendo Seal of Quality" on it, that would be the lazy thing to do.
@Majora101 Hyrule is a tricky one. In japanese is HAIRARU, that will be more like "High-rahl". So to avoid any problems, officialy, Hyrule is pronounced phonetically in every language. "EE-ROO-LAY" in spanish and italian. "EE-ROOL" in french and so, and so.
@Wexter Well, Inafune wasn't attached to any bad games either, one could say that he had a very good record (excepting some duds like Dark Void or Bionic Commando 2009 where he was an executive producer). And then Mighty No. 9 happended... I'm not saying that Igarashi is going the same route but still has to prove what he can do outside of a big company like Konami. Only time will tell.
@GameOtaku The music themed names where a thing of the original series, even "Rockman" was only acknowledge as "X" in game. And for 4 straight games Mavericks where named "Something"+"Animal". I think I'm taking Dark Necrobat over Dark Dizzy... What's a Dark Dizzy anyway?
@FragRed @Pigeon Pokken outsold Street Fighter V in retail last year. I don't know how are the numbers right now but maybe that's why Pokken keeps his original price tag.
@ThanosReXXX "Bragas" means Panties in spanish (although that's a word used mostly in Spain and nowhere else). So there you go! Makes total sense with those "pants-less" women sprites in Altered Bragas.
