finished the game today. imo the positive reviews and the sales numbers are justified. the game reminds me of the 360/ps3 era single player games in a good way. hope this encourages other studios to take some risks with new ips aswell.
Very exciting news I basically bought my Switch 2 for MK and Xenoblade. But I'm worried about censorship if they decide to do a Definitive Edition. Maybe a Switch 2 Version would be the better outcome, less chances for them to change content. A new game would be what I really want of course but 2026 seems a bit early for that.
Good for Square. I'm a pretty big FF fan but Remake is a disappointing game, the filler is really bad just couldn't bring myself to replay it. But you can tell they put effort into making a quality port which paid off. Hope Rebirth runs this good aswell.
