PS4 has hardly any games and very limited entertainment hub capabilities.
My WiiU gets all my game time with a much wider variety of excellent next gen titles available now...not next year! PS3 will remain my home entertainment hub for at least another 2 years, who knows- maybe by then Sony will figure out how to get the PS4 to rip, store and play music CD's!!

You can only tease us for so long before frustration sets in. I am sick of begging for this title- look, WiiU needs this very badly - Look at those awful shovel ware games being released- flush those right down the toilet- they don't sell- no one is interested in them-they are seriously damaging your reputation- and listen to us fans when we tell you what we want- DQX!

@sceptic
its called advertising. Maybe they would sell more units if the said"well, its not so great, but maybe someone will like it".
Name me a product that does not promote itself positively.
With the games Nintendo has already delivered I believe the statement you qoute is honest- and it is not even a year old!
Honestly, show some guts, some character-wait and see!Would this be the first or last time Nintendo pulls a rabbit out of the hat?

They should rename this site "Nintendo Death". This article is nothing more then troll trying to inflame the faithful so they can show their corporate sposors how many comments they can produce. Really Sad.
Nintendo does not need a new console, WiiU has not failed- In the darkest hour the meek whine and self pity while those with heart and vision know of the darkness before the brightest dawn!

Doom and Gloom!
What happened to the Nintendo faithful? This console was just launched and all the 'smart' money is betting on failure. Give it time my friends. Capcom and Konami not supporting- Not Going to Happen. Nintendo is much more then the latest box- It is a culture of gamers who prefer how Nintendo expreses artistically- everything from OS to online shop, bears the indelible mark of Nintendo. If you bought this system you recognise the music sense of humor and artistic flair that Sony and the others cannot buy at any price. The first party games all wear this badge with pride and third parties that want to bask in this glow of quality, creativity and personality will develop great games not to make the most money but to share in this culture. Developers are not so cynical as painted in this forum. Treasure's motto is "Develop what you want on the system you want". Unfortunately they decided to go PC. Bu t other equally creative developers will step forward and create games for Nintendo just because they love Nintendo and that is what compels them to create great unique- Yes the very Best games for any system.

@BinaryFragger
Those were strange anomalies weren't they?
I was very hyped when Saints Row was announced for 3DS, but that
evaporated. I guess Nintendo is not totally inflexible but they definitely
know their core audience. Maybe this MMO DQ game is just not very high
quality,but judging from the awful sovelware games that plagued the Wii
online store quality does not always seem to be a major obstacle.

@ TheGZeus
I believe Nintendo decides if a game can be released on their system.
Not many games with dark, violent or sexual themes are released on any of their systems because Nintendo has a reputation with parents as a familly oriented, safe system.
Thanks for filling me in on "english" literacy in Japan. I have had several Japanese language teachers, One did translation for NHK. She was a college student and the impression she gave me was that student translations were of course based on each individuals ability, but that it was commonly done and the reputation was of high quality and low price.

@fchinaski & princess eevee9
I was joking about translation costs, all students in Japan learn Enlish in school and many to p/t translation work at home. The cost is not high.
I believe this game would help WiiU sales, especially a limited edition DQ system with gold embossed Slime King Nintendo is notoriously stubborn about releasing JRPG's to the west and I guess the sales projections must not cover the costs. But their are intangible benifits to releasing games with a loud and passionate fan base, and if anyone at Nintendo is reading this comment section (This means you Regi) we all hope you will reconsider.

Re: Iwata: Wii Fit U's Free Trial Period Will Improve Wii U Sales Momentum

Talk about a plague of ignorance- this forum is seriously infected.
This game is absolutely awesome! I played it and love it!
You cannot compare going to a gym, getting changed, finding free equipment, all after working a full day to switching on this absolutelt gorgeous game whenever it is convenient and do as muc or little excercise as you want.
Combined with the pedometer, it also factors in your food intake to give create an intense personal training experience for Twenty Freaking Dollars!!!!!
This is far from just a hi def update- Nintendo has created a truly unmatched home excercise and personal health system that is fun, effective convenient and beautiful- The ignorance of the vast majprity of comments here is sad.

Re: Rumour: Wii 2 has Blu-ray Drive, Controller Contains a Screen

Chi

Wii out sold the competition because no parent was prepared to pay $400- in a recession for a game machine.
3DS shows parents might not be that quick on the credit card when the DSi is $100- cheaper.
Nintendo has no choice but to up the tech ante, or at least stay competitive.
Guaranteed it will have some gimmick to create buzz.
Please Nintendo no more awful shovelware. 50% of Wii software is unplayable by
anyone over age 4 1/2.
