I play classic mode, but I reset when someone dies. I just hate it when you saved someone or invested a lot of time and effort in upgrading them to see them die. One gets involved with the characters. Me being the tactician of the sheperds also gives me the feeling of being responsible for these people. I don't want to send them to their deaths. That is very clever gamedesign.
I tend to agree with BakaKnight. The last stage however is very very frustrating. Has anyone beaten it already? I get undone with these stupid green lasers.
I think Nintendo is the one who tries it's best to do something new and isn't afraid to push their more risky franchises as well (Fire Emblem). There is also a shift that gamers are more willing to try the Japanese games that didn't come out in the west before. See what happended with Xenoblade. Nintendo once united the hardcore gamer and the casual gamer with the Wii and DS. The times are changing again. Those markets are being pulled apart again. Anyway I don't need the same shooters on the WiiU or 3DS as we see on the Xbox360 and PS3. I want to play Fire Emblem, Etrian Odyssey and a new Advance Wars.
I have two sons who each own a 3ds. Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon will be played by both of them and by Dad as well Now I'm not going to download it three times, am I? So a cartridge it will be.
It's actually good to have some competition. I'm a great Nintendofan but a monopoly wouldn't do anyone any good. Now that Persona 4 is here I will also buy a Vita. I have played lots of good games on the PSP and PS2 and PS3 as well. War of the lions anyone?

Re: Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers Arrives in Europe This Fall
Boukman is not here. He just went out dancing in the street with silly hat on. He looked very happy.
Re: Nintendo of Europe Offers Free Game in "So Many Games!" Promotion
I was planning on buying an XL anyway. I have Luigi and Fire Emblem and will buy Animal Crossing. I think I'll go for Monster Hunter. Sweet deal.

Re: Europe Now Receiving Club Nintendo Stars For All eShop Downloads
I have about 40 entries to claim stars. I downloaded A LOT of games. But the rewards need to be upgraded indeed.

Re: Witch & Hero
No 3D indeed. It's a fun little game. Last stage is very difficult.
Re: Witch & Hero
I downloaded it this morning and played it in the bus. It's kinda fun. But tough as well. At stage 4 at the moment.
Re: Tomodachi Collection: New Life Detailed in Latest Nintendo Direct
Ha! At last something from Japan I don't want!
Re: Rumour: Bravely Default: Flying Fairy Is Taking Flight To The West
That's wonderful news! It's logical though: JPRG's are back since Xenoblade was such a succes.
