In this down time before NX, adding DLC to some of our other favourite titles would be awesome. Amiibo support/more battle levels in Pikmin 3 and Tropical Freeze, more MK8 DLC, more Captain Toad content....I'd be happy with that to start!
I'd love to see a Splatoon themed MK8 track, or even the inklings as selectable characters! But I really just want Prof. E. Gadd in this game....
@97alexk THIS. Also, I would give away all my snails and all my splatoon money for a inkling Vader mask. Perhaps all my real money too. Next weapon type: ink sabre!!??
With no 3DS and no plan to purchase one, I have no interest in cards. If they move to cards, it will be a money saving tip for me. They serve both display and game use purposes for me. Training 'em up is actually super fun in SSB. Here's my wish list of retroactive Amiibo functionality:
NintendoLand - you can come up with as many good ideas as I can MK8 (with the entire line up....WOULD LOVE a Sonic, PacMan, or MegaMan suit) Pikmin 3 - character themed multiplayer levels, maybe even a trainable Olimar (teammate or foe!?) side quest when he gets announced SM3DW - tons of options WindWaker HD - new side quests or search for the characters somewhere in the game that you can take a picture of to make a figurine Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze - costumes for players, assist characters helping the player(s) for a short time in a level
I am so excited for this despite the Mario/Peach skins. I don't mind that SNES Rainbow Road is remade again, because I never had a SNES or a 3DS. Lucky me! I hope that someday there will be Baby Park HD, as well Dino Dino Jungle 2.0...Those were my jam back in 2003.
Since they gave us skins in the form of colours for Yoshi and Shy Guy, they could be giving us skins for Mario and Peach!?
Think about it. Move Tanooki/MM + Cat/PGP into a skins slot for Mario and Peach respectively (and thus out of my sight forever). That gives 10 more potential characters after DLC 1 and 2 to make an even 40 (or 58 including all the Yoshi/Shy Guy/Mario/Peach skins). I would love to see: Nabbit, Admiral Bobbery (no entries from Paper Mario yet), Birdo, Olimar, Kamek, Prof. E. Gadd, King Boo, Dixie Kong, Kranky Kong, and a Chozo ghost.
Also, I'd love to see a Metroid kart where you actually float around on it and a Pikmin themed level racing around the body of one of the baddies. Dare to dream right?
