Will likely sell out initially. I wonder how this will fare with families with multiple switches used as a portable gaming device. The price tag would quickly get painful for the majority of the gaming audience. I'll wait before getting one, the price is making me hesitate for now.

Very odd turnabout, seems like someone or some people advised the creator to tamp down the alleged controversy. I'm unconvinced he is really all good with changes made to the game.

Very nice, but I am surprised. I thought with the extended wait that the developers would be introducing a new approach to Metroid, like Breath of Wild with Zelda when it came out. A little surprising that it took seven years to yield this, but perhaps this was because of the change in development teams.

I'm not sure if this game would be for me if I was going to purchase it, but including Miles Morales, Spider Gwen and Ms Marvel makes it easy to decline. They are just such out and out creations of far-left identity politics that they would grate on my nerves.

Currently playing through Gato Roboto, not a bad game.

There seem to be an abundance of games on the Switch with the top down, isometric point of view. Unfortunately for my case, I really don't like that perspective.

@BladedKnight I haven't drawn a firm conclusion. If I were to guess, Bethesda will likely make continuous improvements resulting in a solid game further down the road. Something similar happened with The Division from Ubisoft — started out less than stellar but eventually became quite good.

Fairly decent collection of games. In my experience, Silent Hill 2 was the absolute best at creating an atmosphere of fear. Pyramid Head is an iconic villian — imagine him following you around in the dark.

The reviews of the BETA seem to be mixed, leaning towards critical. I prefer single-player campaigns and Fallout 76 just doesn't seem to work well from that perspective. Visually, it looks dated and the first person shooter mechanics seem less than stellar. I'm surprised that Bethesda released this, I expect better from them.

Currently playing Doom on the PS4, purchased before the game was released on the Switch. That being said, the PS4 version has a lower price point and that would make my decision if I bought it now.

The visuals are good, but the gameplay ? The jury is out.

I received my Switch on launch and, for that reason, will not trade it in.
