This fake narrative about AI in games is such nonsense. Are the Devs using git or sharing code, not writing it from scratch? Have they cut and paste assets from other games or reused code? If the whole package isn't coded by one person in a room above their garage does it mean that they've betrayed the tradition of gaming?
AI is going to happen. That may mean job losses. It may mean a better product or a worse one, depending on how it's used. We should be campaigning for it's sensible adoption rather than it's removal, because it's just going to damage the studios like Larian and Sandfall, whilst a Chinese studio will create a game in a day using AI and take over the whole market.
