Update []: In case you missed it, the Switch 2 Edition of Cult of the Lamb is now available on the eShop. Once again, it's a free upgrade if you already own the Switch version.

The Switch version is currently available for $9.99 (or your regional equivalent). According to the eShop website listing, the Switch 2 Edition is around 3.8GB in size. The Switch 2 version includes "enhanced resolution, improved frame rates, and GameShare support".

"Cult of the Lamb, the Woolhaven expansion, and all DLC packs are now on Nintendo Switch 2 and are a free upgrade for owners of the game on Nintendo Switch!"

You can see the new trailer for the Switch 2 Edition of Cult of the Lamb above.

Original Story: Cult of the Lamb has continued to receive all sorts of updates since it launched on the Switch, and now developer Massive Monster has shared some massive news.

The title, where you start your own cult and build up a loyal following, will be getting a Switch 2 version next week on 22nd October 2026.

If you own the existing Switch version, you'll be able to upgrade for free. And if you don't already have a copy and want it, it will apparently cost the "same amount" as the Switch 1 version. Here's the full announcement:

Massive Monster: "CULT OF THE LAMB comes to NINTENDO SWITCH 2 on OCTOBER 22ND! Cultists that already own COTL on Switch 1 can upgrade for FREE, while those that don't will have to pay the price. That price being the same amount as the Switch 1 version."
