Great, will absoulutely check it out for wonderful soundtrack
Also, dinusaurs were laying eggs long before they turned into chickens
I kinda like my games to follow a certain logic. Now sure, the chicken may well have had its wings clipped or just not be a flier, but WTF is it in a bubble to ascend? And it seems almost deliberately (perhaps it is) ironic that it uses a glider not too dissimilar from a certain legendary series in which you can also use birds to glide.
Maybe that is the whole point of the game - the chicken has been prevented from flying so has to overcome this to succeed, but from a marketing perspective it doesn't really work for me.
If you're going to make a chicken your protagonist, then let me be a chicken!
This looks really charming, and like a fun relaxing time. I like it!
@gcunit
I don't think that chickens can fly very well at all. They can't get much height or distance. So it is pretty realistic in that sense (well, kinda, apart from the bubble thing!). I'm not sure about gliding, though! Can chickens glide well?
Removed - unconstructive
Looks cute indeed, sounds great and seems fun so I'll add it to my wishlist!
I am a chicken
From the kitchen
And I ain’t kiddin’
Although, nothing is written
Someone made a game... just for meeeeeeeeeee!
This suddenly triggered a memory of playing Bomb Chicken. Looooved that game.
@Ooyah @gcunit Chickens cant fly, I've seen them launch themselves a bit, but theyve literally been bred not to fly. They can't glide, but can do the thing in zelda that cuckoos do where they ruffle they can fly a bit as they fall to pseudo glide, so the leaf thing is a bit weird, but its just what sells.
@Poodlestargenerica Thank you for putting me straight on that matter, much appreciated.

I'm to hens like otter's are to cats, so this is day one!
BTW, It's a hen, a chicken is what you eat. Like cow/beef.
@gcunit I dont think finding once chicken that can fly means a video games chicken should be able to fly. I already said they can launch themselves a bit.
PS - I better hear some bocks, bukirks and clucks in this game!
Sounds like an interesting fun game, however this just makes me angry about hatch tails / chicken wiggle. That guy is a crook.
@Poodlestargenerica Bruh, it's a platform game, how far do you think they'd need to fly? 10k miles migratory flights probably won't be necessary.
@gcunit There are tens of billions of chickens and almost all of them cant fly. Just because you didnt know they couldnt, doesnt mean that this dev should change their game to fit your perception of the world.
@Poodlestargenerica Have you ever owned and lived with chickens? Cos full disclosure, you're telling somebody who has owned and lived with chickens and seen them fly that not only can chickens not fly, but that this person didn't realise this and has some deluded sense of entitlement that their misconception should be accommodated. G.g.
I have not personally owned them, but have had many nighbors, relatives, friends, etc who have. I'm from rural new england, Ive seen about how much chickens can fly.
Looks great, will definitely hope for a physical
This game gives me strong "Bomb Chicken"-Vibes. Which is an compliment since Bomb Chicken was great fun to play!
