After seeing the King of the Koopas take the limelight for the past few weeks, the Bowser Tour is entering its final lap in Mario Kart Tour. As we have come to expect, the next tour has now been revealed and it looks like the focus is all about Miis this time around.
The aptly-named Mii Tour will be speeding off the start line on 17th May at 7:00am BST / 8:00am CEST and is set to bring back Mario Kart Double Dash's Mushroom Bridge circuit. All this was revealed by the official @mariokarttourEN Twitter account, which also provided a sneak peek at the course itself.
It looks like the circuit hasn't changed all that much as it heads over to Tour (yes, the speed boosts on the bridge's arches are still there), so we can expect to get a good GameCube experience.
With the reveal of the new tour also came the announcement of this season's Mii racing suits. Lemmy and Morton-inspired designs make up the new Mii wardrobe for this one, continuing the Koopa collection that started with the last tour.
As is usually the case, the end of the above suit reveal provides a teaser of which outfits are on their way next time. It looks like those after a Wendy suit to complete the Koopa collection are going to be disappointed, but the regal look of one silhouette has got us wondering whether a Princess Daisy design is on the way. We'll just have to wait and see...
Are you excited to head to Mushroom Bridge once again? Speed down to the comments and let us know.

This game improved so much over the years, even the loot boxes were removed.
However, it's still a service-based game where the player is supposed to play a lot every day, to the point the game becomes a second job, trying to avoid those kinds of games.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe needs more DLC after this DLC season ends, just so they can have even more retro tracks and new tracks made for Mario Kart Tour.
@silverdamascus I can see where you're coming from, but I'd say Mario Kart Tour requires you to play it way less than most service-based games both daily and in general.
Anyway, couldn't agree more about a second Booster Course Pass as there are already so many tracks and characters (potentially even karts and gliders, but we haven't got even one of those yet) from Tour that won't be able to make it to 8 Deluxe in the first one, not to mention even more new ones if they end up making them!
Mushroom Bridge looks great, can't wait to race on it in Tour and most likely 8 Deluxe, too!
@silverdamascus honestly I think we’ll see a smash bros situation with a booster course pass 2 or something.
Guys, no! If they release more DLC, then we'll have to wait longer for Mario Kart 9 ( which will hopefully launch on the Switch's successor, which will hopefully launch next year).
Also, not sure if riding on the arches is a great idea, not unless you've mastered Tour's terrible controls.
Ooh I hope they add this to the MK8DBCP
@Stew Are you still on about that? Because Nintendo said it’s not going to happen next year or anytime soon.
Also they brought back the original score from Double Dash, let’s GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
@silverdamascus if u look at the wave 4 trailer it looks theres 4 missing tabs of waves
@Ruler-Of-All-Evil They said not this fiscal year, so fingers crossed for shortly after that.
@Stew But what about the first three months of the year if not, more likely, at least the first half if not even longer while we wait for the Switch's successor which hasn't even been announced yet?
I think there's enough time for a shorter second Booster Course Pass while we wait for the Switch's successor and "Mario Kart 9" to preserve even more tracks and characters (potentially also karts and gliders) from Tour before that eventually shuts down unfortunately.
Well, it would be nice if we got extra courses for battle mode. Still wonder why they decided to all of a sudden start adding more characters to the expansion, even though there are only two waves left.
