Now that the chaos of October is just about over, things are about to get calmer, yeah? Nope!
November is giving us the next big Sonic game in Sonic Frontiers and the next generation of Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. But with Square Enix releasing even more titles and a handful of much-loved games getting Switch ports this month, November is jam-packed full of excellent Switch releases. Here's what we think you should get cosy with:
Doraemon Story of Seasons: Friends of the Great Kingdom - November 2nd 2022
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator - November 3rd 2022
Ghost Song - November 3rd 2022
It Takes Two - November 4th 2022
Harvestella - November 4th 2022
Sonic Frontiers - November 8th 2022
Sifu - November 8th 2022
Tactics Ogre: Reborn - November 11th 2022
Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration - November 11th 2022
Pokémon Scarlet & Violet - November 18th 2022
What games on this list will you be checking out in the month of November? What else have we missed? Let us know in the comments!

Hmm don't seem to be interested in any of the games here sadly.
I dropped pokemon for years and it's recent entries don't seem to be for me.
I will say that I hope Sonic Frontiers does well.
If Violet/ Scarlett is an improvement over Legends: Arceus, then I can't wait to see what the Poké Co. does next...Violet and Scarlett will easily be Game of the Month (for Switch)
You missed the next great shmup release - Mecha ritz steel rondo! I know it is a bit niche, but the steam reviews suggest that this is another great addition to the massive collection of quality shmups on switch

Garbage in truth
Got Sonic preordered for my PS5. And Pokémon preordered for the Switch! I can’t wait to jump in on Pokémon.
Ghost Song looks intriguing, but I’ll leave that on Gamepass, and Tactics Ogre… as much as I want it, I gotta have a Christmas list. Lol
Tactics Ogre is a day one for me.
After a good time recently with releases
There will be a little lull for me until BOTW 2.
Unless we get a new Mario Platform game surprise, I can dream please 😊
Many great games. I take Pokemon Scarlet, Tactics Ogre Reborn, Harvestella, Sonic Frontiers and of course Doraemon Story Of Seasons: Friends Of The Great Kingdom.
My choice.
Oooh, Sonic Frontiers comes out a couple weeks sooner than I thought! I'll definitely be picking it up. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is one I'd definitely like to play since I loved Arceus so much despite never previously caring for Pokémon games. I really enjoy the more open-ended and explorative nature. It Takes Two is a game I literally just bought a PS5 a couple months ago to get, so I probably shouldn't double-dip. It's not quite as family-oriented as it looks though, and was shocked to hear it drop the G-D swear. I wish I could filter the language out, especially since I've been playing it with my dad who is a pastor, but it's otherwise a stellar game. Pretty decent month for Switch between these games, Mario Party 1 and 2, and presumably Booster Course Pass Wave 3.
Just moved so I’m tight on money at the moment. Pokémon I’ll be picking up but I’ll wait a bit for the other titles I’m interested in.
im getting sonic frontiers and pokemon scarlet, and even if they suck, I’ll still play them
Harvestella and Pokémon for me.
I'm still waiting for a concrete release date for Front Mission 1st...
Just Pokemon Scarlet for me. Pokemon Scarlet has me very interested and curious, so I will probably keep my pre-order. I just hope the performance doesn't bug me, it definitely looks good, so I'm hoping it really will be.
I have a feeling Sonic Frontiers will actually be good, I really hope so as it's about time a 3D Sonic game becomes good again. I'll be skipping it for now, but if the reviews are positive, then I could get it evetually.
Harvestella actually looks good too. That's on my list of at least acknowledging it could be a good game if the reviews are positive.
I'm kinda optimistic for Sonic. At the very least it looks better than Forces. Same sentiment for Pokemon. Although I don't know if I'd pick them up this month since I have some old games that I want to buy instead so maybe I'll wait until the holidays.
Although I'm scared for the performance of those two games on Switch too...
Oh and I know that people joked on the last Nintendo Direct but Harvestella looks good too. Although I'll probably wait for a sale on that one.
Pokémon Scarlet
Sonic Frontiers
I think those will be the last two games I'll be getting, as far as 2022 releases go anyways. Unless of course, I'm blanking on any major December games coming out.
Pokémon will be my purchase this month!
Literally just Pokémon. I was expecting more from an exciting new games list. It Takes Two could be a pickup for me, but I'm not one for forced multi-player. Similar reason to why I passed on Temtem.
I would also be interested in the Story of Season game, but the main kid just looks so goofy. 🤪 Same reason why I passed on the first Doraemon SoS.
@Controller-Drift
Any time pokemon promises "open world, " my imagination is stoked.
To me, it's more fun than running down the same path as your buddy and basically having access to the same stuff in the same order, so I'll be the so that buys this pokemon.
Also, tactics ogre is definitely on my list
@strollin_stu
The day before launch review embargo gives me pause for concern. That and Sonic Team's awful track record
@eaglebob345
If you are not excited about Sifu and It Takes Two coming to the Switch, you may want to sell your system and find a different hobby
@Old_Man_Nintendo
It really is hard to trust a sonic game before the reviews are in.
@Old_Man_Nintendo Sifu is not my cup of tea. It Takes Two kinda is, but I'm a solo player.
Sifu, Signature Edition from Pix 'n' Love for me!
@strollin_stu in the next couple of weeks it would be Somerville
Is it November already? Scary.
I'll probably get Scarlet or Violet (I still haven't decided which), but I decided to wait for a review to make sure performance isn't too too bad.
Unless Sonic Frontiers gets astounding reviews I'll wishlist it and wait for a sale. Harvestella is also going on the wishlist because I enjoyed the demo but I have very high standards for paying $60 for a game.
Just Sonic Frontiers and Pokemon at the moment. Hopefully performance issues won't be too bad, the nature of Sonic Frontiers seems like something the Switch would struggle with.
I’ve got my eye on that Atari collection.
@Kiwi_Unlimited I really agree with you. Yes, it really bothers me those cons I mentioned, having that level of budget and sales, one would expect at least better frame consistency and having a difficulty selection should be easy and a no-brainer today.. but anyways as mentioned before, still a day one for me too because the pros are bigger as you mention
@Grumblevolcano
Fenyx Rising was a true open world game, much more densely populated than Frontiers and it ran fine on the Switch
I'm really worried about Scarlet and Violet after the poor performance reviews last week, but hopefully it'll be good.
Death's Door (physical release) and Aragami 2 are my two for this month
Just Pokémon for me (both versions, but I'll begin with Violet, as purple is my favourite colour).
I might even play both versions mostly side-by-side this time around, but we'll see how Violet grabs my attention first.
I'll consider Atari 50 (the steelbook edition is tempting), but not at full price given that the majority of Atari's catalogue has aged very poorly, I'll exercise some caution (though this is shaping up to be a considerably better value proposition than the "Flashback Collection" with its 150 dubiously advertised "classics").
There's almost nothing (if anything) of interest in terms of new releases until 2023, unless Nintendo would kindly drop an Advance Wars-shaped bomb on us before the year is through.
Happy to have a slow month after October, lol. Won't need to buy anything until December with Miracle Snack Shop and Witch on the Holy Night from PlayAsia.
So basically, there are zero games coming to the Kidtendo Switch in November. Just like every other month!
@IronMan30 huh? Where's the "you're a tool" button when I need it.
for me, it's pokemon and harvestella
Not much here at all. Harvestella is intriguing, need to see how the reviews are. And Pokémon always looks fun but I enjoyed Legends but played no more than 20 hours of the game and just not worth paying it For playing a small portion of the game
Interested to see how Sonic Frontiers turns out, but November is all about TACTICS OGRE BAYBEEEEEEE
Getting Harvestella & the Pokemon dual pack, plus the Pokemon OLED as a birthday gift to myself. I can't wait for Friday to get my new OLED.
But no Advance Wars.
Only Sonic for me, maybe Ghost Song if a physical appears
There are a few of these I'm interested in, but I probably won't buy any of them. I'm in the middle of playing through the Trails series and that will likely keep me busy for the next year or more. I haven't wanted to buy any RPG or adventure games because of that. I'd probably still pick up a particularly good platformer or multiplayer game of some sort...
@IronMan30
(maybe you were being sarcastic? but...)
@Rogue-Pleader
LOL so good. 👏😊
@Uncle_Franklin
holy crap I was excited for this at one time but it completely fell off my radar! ☹️
@-wc- I was.
@IronMan30
good show.
