Pokémon Unite for Switch and mobile devices has continued the expansion of its fighter roster with the release of the Pokémon Scizor and Scyther.
Scyther (the bug and flying-type) and its evolved form Scizor (the bug and steel-type) come with a whole range of moves, which you can see in the character spotlight above.
It follows on from the news yesterday that three more Pokémon would be coming to this game. You can find out who exactly they are in the previous post (warning: possible spoilers):

Smh they really need to add more content to Pokémon Quest.
Whoa didn't know they were doing a dual evolution thing? Unless I'm completely wrong it looks like you can pick to evolve into either one for it's final form.
Either way I got 28k coins and Scyther has been a top 3 favorite of mine since day 1 of the original game hitting the states, so will get him once the cash only payment method ends.
It’s about time! My boy deserved this spot!
I really like how experimental they've been with new Pokemon as of late. Hoopa can teleport players across the map, Mew can use moves from other Pokemon, Dodrio has a unique scoring/speed gimmick and now Scizor/Scyther are two mons in one that you can pick on the fly. They've been making each new mon feel like that Pokemon and I think that's just really cool.
I hope to god you don't have to pay actual money just to get Scizor in the first week, they pulled that s*** with Dodrio and that's just gross.
Time to go back. Scizor is my second favorite Pokémon, behind Gardevoir only
@Fizza You do realize it's a free game and a business with one goal...to make money?
Why would they allow it to be bought with coins right away when there are kids willing to drop $10 just to say FIRST!!?
It's one week, you'll live.
@SteamEngenius It's moreso the fact that they've only started pulling this kind of stuff with available Pokemon in the last few weeks when they've made it fair to everyone to get the same mon immediately before. Doesn't help that the Aeos Coin prices (the free currency given to you for playing) have only gone up in that time as well (we've gone from 8-10k a mon to about 14-16k in about a year). Oh and there's also the small matter of €45 SKINS!?
I love Unite myself. I've played it countless times over the last year and its a game I can always come back to in the same vein as Splatoon and mainline Pokemon. But stuff like this really rubs me the wrong way about it and contributes to the long stretches of time where I just don't want to play it as someone who hasn't spent a cent on it. Though I suppose I could just be an old has-been who's yet to get with the times, who knows really.
