Kirby X Elden Ring

There are a whole horde of things that you never want to come across in Elden Ring: a teleport trap just as you discover a new area, a pack of wolves falling from the sky when you are low on Crimson Tears, an oncoming attack from Kirby in a full suit of armou- wait, what? That's right folks, in a crossover that you never knew you needed (but will be very glad that you saw), Twitter user @UchiVsTheWorld has begun a series of artworks showing Kirby characters in the Lands Between and the results are brilliant!

There are currently four pieces to the collection: Kirby the Elden Star (horrifying), Meta Knight as Maliketh (terrifying), Kirby as Malenia (hey, that's kinda cute) and General RaDedede (ok, we're back to upsetting). Ranni, Elden Ring's mysterious blue witch, makes very clear in the game, 'now cometh the age of stars', but stars of the warp variety were not quite what we had in mind.

There are a lot of deeply disturbing things that you come across in your journey through the Lands Between, though none of them pack quite the same punch as Uchi's image of Kirby as the Elden Beast - never has the threat of 'mouthful mode' been greater.

Uchi has told us that they will be adding more pieces to the collection soon, so be sure to keep an eye on their Twitter posts for further updates.
