Disney's lovely, magical take on the life sim genre, Disney Dreamlight Valley, hits Early Access at the beginning of September. And while the upcoming game is going free to play in 2023, if you want to get in early, you'll have to pay the price of admission from one of three Founder's Packs.

All three Founder's Packs are available to pre-order now on the Switch eShop, and if you adopt and join Early Access in the first week of release, you'll get two bonus cosmetics — a Donut Headband and a frankly adorable Choco Crocodile animal companion.

Why it's not called a Chocodile though, is beyond us!

We don't know exactly when Disney Dreamlight Valley is going free-to-play next year, but Gameloft has promised that all in-game purchases will simply be cosmetic, so there should be no need to worry about grinding to progress through the game.

The game is also available on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox — as well as Game Pass, where you can also try out the Early Access.
