The Pokémon World Championships are coming to the ExCel in London next week (August 17th-24th) where contestants will finally be able to discover who is the very best like no one ever was.
The event will also house a Pokémon Centre pop-up store for the duration of its stay and today we've got a first look at some of its exclusive merch, thanks to Serebii.
The store will be selling two coin sets containing a Pikachu-embossed coin, damage markers and a VSTAR marker all collected in an exclusive case. The collections will be available in two different editions — Main Look and City Set — and the cases and coins differ accordingly.
Check out the images below for a closer look at these lovely-looking exclusive items.
The coin sets will be one of the many items that you will be able to buy at the store during the World Championships — during last week's Pokémon Presents, we also got a little look at two exclusive plushies of Pikachu and Roserade.
Nothing else has been officially confirmed, but we certainly expect even more plushies-galore. To visit the store, you can either register for a slot online or show up on the day and take your chances in the virtual queue.
The store will be open on the following dates and times:
- Wednesday, August 17th - 12pm to 7pm
- Thursday, August 18th - Saturday, August 20th - 8am to 8pm
- Sunday, August 21st - 8am to 4pm
What do you think of these exclusive items? Let us know if you will be adding them to your collection below!

More knick knacks than anyone has space to put them.
Also, most players use dice instead of coins.
Still no info about registering for a slot...
@nukatha
True but people still collect the flip coins. I have a modest collection, probably will never own these but the design is cute! Would make more sense to add a standard die in there for flipping.
