Nintendo just recently released a new update for Nintendo Switch Sports, bringing the game up to version 1.2.0. While the update introduced some welcome additions including Leg Strap functionality for soccer and new moves for volleyball, it seems a whole bunch of future goodies have been hidden away in the backend, ready to be unveiled officially at a later date.
We can't wait for that though, right? Through a bit of datamining, a total of 13 additional costumes have been discovered, each of which likely to appear in the game in the coming weeks and months. As with all costumes in the game, the new sets will no doubt be made available for limited periods of time in an effort to encourage users to keep playing and unlock them.

In other news, it seems the latest update has also added an option to play against CPU Mii opponents via a sneaky little button code in the menu. Check out the below for more info:

Looks like im locked in for the next several weeks completing all my level-ups to get the costumes. Nothing like spending hours in one day grinding out one whole card!
After the Squirrel, Skunk and bloody SHARK, I think it'll take something absolutely insane to surprise me with the costumes in Switch Sports now (though that football head is close I'll give them that).

I fell off the game a little while back (hoping Golf will bring me back in autumn). Are the costume unlocks still for online play only?
if so, tis a shame as I only properly play it when friends come over. Would be cool to unlock them whilst doing 4 player local bowling etc.
Awesome, I like a lot of these new costumes! Despite the controversy this game has, I really enjoy it. I’m looking forward to the golf update and snagging some of these new outfits.
I also need to grind out for the shark costume tonight before it goes away forever lol. Gonna go between bowling and tennis probably.

The Halloween costumes are cute but I was hoping we'd get a fox body after the squirrel and shark bodies.
Everything else is pretty meh to me
the costumes are cool but i wish the body types were implemented better. they still cant use 80% of the cosmetics we earn and so many of them look the same. even just an option to change their base color or eye color would be nice
And yet I'm still not excited to dabble in this game ... Maybe when it hits $20
@DeathByLasagna the games "conservative" was people having pointless fits claiming that the game is unfinished ot incomplete
@Perryg92 Yeah from what I’ve noticed you only unlock stuff when playing online. The game is a ton of fun but I hate this “online-service” approach, especially since it’s a game you pay $40-$50 for already. You gotta play online during specific weeks to unlock something or it’s gone forever.
