The upcoming Legend of Mana anime — Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal — has received a brand new trailer earlier today (Thanks Comicbook and GoNintendo!). Produced by Graphinica (Chain Chronicle ~Light of Haecceitas~, Muv-Luv Alternative) and Yokohama Animation Lab (Monster Strike), the show looks pretty darn lovely so far.
Based on the fourth game in the Mana series, with character designs from series artist HACCAN and music by legendary composer Yoko Shimomura, we got a first look at the show a few months ago:

The anime stars Shiloh and Serafina (the default names given to the male and female protagonists of the game in later adaptations) and looks to feature many classic locations, enemies, and characters from Square Enix's experimental entry in the Mana series.
The show's main theme 'Tear of Will' also makes its debut here, and is sung and written by Saori Hayami. You'll get to hear the full track in October this year.
We've also got a stunning new poster, featuring HACCAN's designs and the iconic Mana tree tucked away at the back.
We'll let you know when Legend of Mana: The Teardrop Crystal drops later this year. In the meantime, let us know what you think of the new trailer (at the top, fully subbed too!) in the comments!

Looking forward to this. The game is a bit of a mess, the story somewhat hard to follow, so to have it animated and laid out for me sounds like a great way to finally experience the ending.
I might give this a watch, if only because I found Legend of Mana to be the best Mana series game by a country mile.
And even then it's still just... okay.
The anime lacks the charm of the game and the original art style, but sure, why not give it a shot?
I wish that had picked one of the flagship entries instead of this spin-off, but, I still might have to check a look.
Secret of Mana or Evermore would’ve been better choices and settings for me.
… Wun can only hope.
@wuntyme8 A Secret of Evermore anime would be wild!
