I got the digital version in a sale. I haven’t played it yet, but enjoyed the demo. ☺️
Huh, hadn't heard of it before this, funny concept though
Looks more SNES to me, though.
I'd probably should give the demo a try. I never really stopped and thought about the concept of the game, it sounds appealing.
Goomba Sim? Why do I feel targeted?
......crud my list has practically already been finalized.
Not fussed about getting it on physical, but it's an extremely fun and charming game with a lovely soundtrack! Very relaxing to play.
As an Italian American, I just want to remind everyone that "Goombah is a pejorative slang term for people of Italian descent, mainly in the United States, with several related connotations to the Mafia (either the Italian-American Mafia, the original Sicilian Mafia, or other Italian organized crime groups) or gangs of Italian or Italian-American origin."
The term doesn't bother me and never has. What bothers me is that we live in this era of hyper sensitivity, but it is not applied equally. So whenever I see people tossing around the term totally carefree, I like to remind them to pause and think about what "microaggression" really means.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
@Chocobo_Shepherd As someone who loves politically incorrect humor...I've never heard of a goomba being anything but a Mario goomba. You seem to be reaching a bit.
@SteamEngenius Reaching in what way? Where do you think the Nintendo character got its name from? =P
