The Pokémon Company has announced the Europe International Championships for later this month, the first of its 2022 Championship Series season. The event will take place at the Messe Frankfurt in Frankfurt, Germany on April 22nd–24th, 2022.
The event will feature "exciting competitions for players of the Pokémon TCG, the Pokémon video games, Pokémon GO, and Pokkén Tournament DX".

@CharlieGirl Why? It's the Box art of Pokken Tournament...
I really hope there's a Pokken 2 someday in the coming years. It had such solid mechanics all they'd need to do is expand the roster, Supports, arenas, etc., make sure the split-screen runs well, and touch up the online. While I personally can't get to into fighting games due to bad/delayed reflexes, Pokken was such a good, well executed idea it deserves to be more than a one-off.

Sounds like the least exciting Pokemon games to watch.
@CharlieGirl Unite's actually been confirmed for Worlds this year, they're just holding their own qualifiers separate from Nationals and such.
