Koei Tecmo is releasing another Fire Emblem Musou spin-off in June. Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes will be based on the latest mainline entry, Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
While we've already seen quite a bit of the game in the lead up to its June release date, the game listing on Amazon Japan apparently features three new screenshots - showing off the game's map and also a story/dialogue scene.
Here they are in all their glory.
The previous update we got about Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes was in February when the game was rated in Australia. It received an 'M' rating for Mature and will contain fantasy themes, violence and online interactivity.
You can see plenty of other screenshots in our gallery for Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
Will you be checking out this game when it is released on June 24th? Tell us down in the comments.

Glad to see eating is still a thing here--loved that mechanic in Three Houses. Though from the look of the screenshot, it seems that we're playing as the guy with the purple hair. I wonder what significance he has to the story and lore of Fodlan.
@JR150 my friend already played the entire game in a somewhat incomplete state. hes a hardcore fire emblem fan and hated 3 hopes. idk myself im just the messenger
I know a lot of people are burnt out on Musou games, and to be frank, they aren't games I'm that into. However, as a huge Fire Emblem fan, I adored Fire Emblem Warriors. And as someone who's mind was blown playing Three Houses, I am so hyped for this game! I'm so happy to see they are incorporating aspects of 3H into this one such as the eating with students part. I'm really curious to see what other 3H activities may arrive in the game too.
I'm intrigued, but I still haven't beat Three Houses ;w; 3/4 routes done, it's only been three years!
Does this game have perma death?
I'm honestly kind of disappointed to see that the monastery socializing elements seem to be back. I know most people love them, but I'm not into the school social elements that are big with JRPGs these days. It was one of my least favorite parts of Three Houses personally. I'm still getting this, but I hope it'll be easy to just ignore for anyone who doesn't enjoy that sort of thing.
@Don If it's like the previous FE Warriors, it will have an optional "permadeath" mode where you can still pay to revive the characters afterwards, but you'll also be able to turn it off completely. This is a spin-off that plays differently from the main series games, so mechanics like that will be treated differently.
Just wake me up when it’s here.
That villain design is terrible and irks me everytime I see it.
Still unsure about Three Hopes overall. I wasn't the biggest fan of FE Warriors and I worry about the game running smoothly if Age of Calamity is anything to take note of, and the fact this is pretty much a golden route of Three Houses so the story could be a mess. I'm hoping on the gameplay proving me wrong, having excellent remixes of Three Houses tracks and good character interactions (especially ones we've not seen before) will sell the game for me.
Really looking forward to this one, and mario strikers in the same month so I guess I'll be booking some time off for them 👍
Nice to see Mercedes, but I'm hoping that they show Male Byleth and the other students sometime. Specifically, I want to see the rest of the Beagles!
So where in the time line is this game taking place? Mid three houses story or post three houses story, if its the later then which route does it carry on from?
I hope like with Age of Calamity, there's a demo prior to launch which you can transfer save data into the full game.
Tell me I'm not the only one noticed this, but...
Doesn't that first map look awfully familiar to anyone? Almost as if the layout was copied straight from Age of Calamity's Zora's Domain, minus the central Domain part itself?
I loved Fire Emblem Three Houses but I'm not a fan of Warriors games so I don't know wether to get the game or not
i loved awakening and beat it, but i bounced off 3 houses for some reason. im trying to get into it again, now, and i do actually like it.
this looks... hm. this isnt my kind of game.
I'm looking forward to this. Mousou games aren't my favorite thing but I do get into them when I'm attached to the characters, and I definitely have that with the Three Houses characters.
I'll definitely wait and see some reviews before jumping in on this one. I did like P5 Strikers but I'm usually not into Mousou games. Three Houses is by a mile my favorite Switch game though so I'm at least interested.
I expect this will be tightly integrated with the various elements of Three Houses since KOEI TECMO worked on both. But I also hope it means Intelligent Systems is working on a proper Fire Emblem game on their own.
@UltimateOtaku91 Seems pretty obvious it's an alternate route overall, right? Considering their age and who's there, etc.
@ModdedInkling I just looked at them side by side and they don't seem even remotely similar, beyond both being maps.
Oh yay, they brought back the tedious social activities you probably feel obligated to do...At least it's probably something you can ignore without gimping yourself with being a Warriors game.
@JR150 But it's just pressing A on two characters, isn't it?
@Xenobound94
Same. I just recently restarted first FE Warriors, had like 300h on first play. I have also played Zelda Warriors, even I have not been interested these type of games otherwise.
I think it just adds something different to play when you are bored and want to switch genre.
@Tao
I like the mechanic because you have to prioritize what characters like to eat, leading to a wide variety of food choices you'll be picking from since every character has their own likes and dislikes. The dialogue when they sit down to eat often helps add to their characterization especially if you put together two characters with special dialogue.
So yes. It's more than just pressing two buttons.
@JR150
I guess it's just two buttons to anyone who just wants to get it over with for whatever boosts it gives (which would be stuff like unit synergy for easier combat).
I especially liked Fire Emblem Warriors (the first one) because you could control 6 units at once and tell them all who to attack or protect. Very fun. Would recommend. Felt like Robin.
@MisterLizard
To each their own I guess. I loved spending time in the Dining Hall.
@ReaperMelia
It would definitely be helpful to turn off permadeath. I played the GBA and DS Fire Emblem games on Wii U virtual console and had to resort to save states to beat the game. I had trouble anticipating enemy movements and was losing a lot of characters when the enemies gang up on them during their turn.
@Don If you haven't played them, the 3DS games and Three Houses all let you turn off permadeath as well. The original FE Warriors as well as Warriors: Three Hopes are hack and slash spin-offs, so they play very differently from the older games in the series.
Glad I got my EU CE version and standard in NA preordered.
I'm a simple man. I see Fire Emblem, I buy the game. I enjoyed Fire Emblem Warriors more than I thought I would and I loved Three Houses.
What I'm really hoping for is a new mainline game, however. This game will hopefully bridge the gap in between waiting a little.
@ReaperMelia
I definitely plan to play the 3DS and Switch Fire Emblem some time soon. I enjoyed the GBA and DS games. Right now I’m working on the original NES Fire Emblem released for the Switch.
