The Fire Emblem series is getting another Musou entry, and this time it's based on the most recent release, Fire Emblem: Three Houses. It's officially titled Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes and sees the return of Edelgard, Dimitri, Claude as they fight their way across the war-torn Fódlan.
While we've already seen a trailer, Nintendo has also shared a lot photos of the game over on its official websites - so we've compiled them into a single post for your enjoyment. Here they are:
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes arrives exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on 24th June 2022. Will you be checking this latest Warriors game out? Comment down below.

Pre-ordered and ready for the Blue Lions route if there is one
As Long as I can play as my Waifu marianne I'm sold
I need more Bernadetta and Dorothea in my life. Hopefully you have access to a LOT of playable characters.
I like the slight redesign of the characters, hopefully we can play we a lot of the other students. Definitely getting this, need more Fire Emblem.
So excited for this game, I'm not pre-ordering (never do), but I have high hopes. Need Bernadetta, Ferdinand, Constance, and Caspar at least please! Black Eagles for life.
You lost me at musou.
Looking good, always liked the look of the characters but suck at turn based strategy games (apart from Blood Bowl) nice to have them in a setting I can enjoy.
Im not excited for another Warriors game but I loved Three Houses, the character and the story so it's a day one buy
This looks to be of exceptional quality, but I’m definitely suffering from Musou fatigue.
Day one for me. Was thinking of getting the limited edition but after seeing the price I figured the extra money can go towards another game seems as it's looking very stacked this year.
I still waiting for super mario warriors
I wish Bayonetta 3 was coming out but this should scratch that itch until then.
I definitely plan on playing this at some point but I want to finish all the routes in Three Houses first. I'm most curious about the story. Is it like a "What if we all worked together?" route? Another interpretation of the different routes from Three Houses? Something else entirely?
I might play this. The screenshots look good. I would prefer a sequel to Persona 5 Strikers though
Not a Warriors fan so it's a pass for me.
@clianvXAi
Exactly, same here! I cannot stand Warriors gameplay. But I need a new real FE game badly! Especially a 2D one, possibly a remake of one of the older titles.
Can’t wait! I think FE and Musou blend well together so this had been on my wishlist ever since FE3H came out. Didn’t expect K-T to actually do it though.
@Ralizah If I can't have Bernadetta lay waste to entire legions of mooks this game is dead to me.
@UltimateOtaku91 God Marianne is so overrated. You literally can't go anywhere online where people discuss 3H without at least one person HAVING to throw in "OMG she is waifu uwu". She is absolutely nothing special and and I can't stand her.
I have the same reaction I had with the BotW Warriors game, that looks good. But when the release date came round I gave it a miss. Not sure why.
So I think the same thing may happen with Three Hopes.
Hyrule Warriors was fun but not enough to make want to check out another warriors game...
Well, it seems that the game looks decent enough. Now how about showing how it runs now, Koei Tecmo and Nintendo.
@Xenoman37 well people do like the "Dandere" type
I like the endings of Three Houses and I like the ending of BotW. I'm not sure how I feel about these musou games with happy golden route endings for everyone.
Unless all the characters have unique movesets unlike the BS we got with the original FE Warriors, I am not interested at all.
Musou games should be a chance to show off the personalities of characters like these by the way they fight, not shoved off into archetypes.
Looks good, the original FE warriors felt like it had a lot of missed opportunities.
...but do I need another storyline with this cast? Not at all. Will I buy it anyway - yes
Claude looks as effortlessly fabulous as usual. A good sign.
Loved the last one. Three Houses is amazing. I loved the character relations and the unique personalities that came from it. Plus I want to see Dedue literally taking on an army on his own and Hilda complaining about how hard she's working as she's slaughtering thousands of people
@DomGC
Maybe take a look at how they handled Age of Calamity - it's hugely different from the first Hyrule Warriors, and I would suspect they would do the same here.
@Ryu_Niiyama
K-T worked on Three Houses (different dev team under K-T). This felt inevitable
@moodycat
There's also not much of an excuse to screw this one up, especially with hopes that they learned their lesson from AoC. One of the reassuring things is that Three Houses was developed on a modified Musou engine, so I have that expectation there would be little to no hiccups.
@anoyonmus
I have a feeling this wouldn't have the same results as Age of Calamity. One of the things that make me optimistic is that Three Houses is already on a modified Musou engine, which means it'll be much easier to carry over any mechanics to Three Hopes and then do hack 'n slash.
@thenewguy
If it makes it any better for you, I would expect Three Hopes to play very similarly to Three Houses with the exception of the combat. After all, Three Houses was built on the Musou engine thanks to another dev team from Koei Tecmo. If you still aren't convinced, look back at Persona 5 Strikers, which did almost everything that Persona 5 did minus the combat.
@MegaVel91
Just as Age of Calamity was a different beast than the first Hyrule Warriors game, I'm optimistic that Three Hopes does the same. You'd be surprised how much stays the same, but feels very different.
Have finally gotten around to Age of Calamity last month. Had a blast, and wondered if they'd do the same for Three Houses, I am very happy with this announcement. I have enjoyed Fire Emblem before but it never clicked with me properly until Three Houses. This'll be a day one for me.
Musou never more. Too boring. I´ll pass this one forever.
@ModdedInkling lets hope it runs good.
@Korgon Based on absolutely nothing I have decided that this game will show events that happen during the 5 year time skip and will show how Fodlan fully came to be split
@ModdedInkling I played Persona Strikers. Good game overall but dont feel like going back to it after wrapping up the story.
Excited to get back into the world of Three Houses. Day one for me.
@moodycat
Yeah, and with all things considered, if it's gonna take them 4 years per game to finally push the game to peak performance, they might as well slow down and actually work on quality for once.
@ModdedInkling Except that with Hyrule Warriors and Age of Calamity, despite similarities, each character played differently than the first game and was unique and even had their own gimmicks.
The same cannot be said for Fire Emblem Warriors. Vast majority of the roster was populated purely by clones that did not have unique movesets or even special Attacks at all. I know. I own the game and played it a lot. But my playtime with it doesn't change the utter disappointment from the complete lack of giving the characters their own personality outside of spoken lines and minor aesthetics, at most.
Three Hopes has to be made up more similar to Age of Calamity, or even have even just the strong attacks and specials both differ between characters, and that would be miles better than what FEW gave us.
I'm very excited for this. I've never played a Warriors game, despite my sister buying and loving the first FE Warriors game, and I really did love Three Houses. If this game ends up being what I had hoped Cindered Shadows would be when it was first announced, I'll be very happy. I've wanted a Golden Route for Three Houses since the beginning, so I really do hope this is that.
Either way, will be glad to go back to Fodlan and see them all again (especially Dimitri).
I realize this announcement made some folks happy, but I wasn't one of them. I was definitely NOT interested in another Mosou spin-off (which I've tried and found agonizingly dull and repetitive, mindless combat), nor another take on Three Houses. I played through Edelgard's campaign (and maxed out every job with my hero to the tune of well over 100 hours), but its art style (which seemed dreary and drab) and needlessly spread-out and time-consuming monastery component were both turn-offs for me personally. I much preferred the more colorful art direction and storyline of Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn, and hope Nintendo might make a compilation of the two for Switch in the near future if they're going to continue to revisit previous iterations.
No interest in the FE source material but the original FE Warriors is a fantastic game (and I've put over 200 hours into it), and the first HYRULE WARRIORS is in my top 5 games of all time (and I own 4 copies, with over 600 hours on the clock), so of course I'm hyped for this.
I just hope this is the one where they finally make Co-op a less compromising experience. (Assuming it's even there to begin with).
Still need to play the first FE Warriors game before I decide on whether or not to get this one.
@thehoppypoppy i think both games will feel diferent
