Lila's world is in danger in Lila's Sky Ark, and you are Lila. This dreamlike, puzzley world looks like Hyper Light Drifter meets Alice in Wonderland, and explores themes like grief, loss, loneliness and depression through its gorgeous pixel-art levels.
Lila's Sky Ark is a prequel to German developer Monolith of Minds' previous game, Resolutiion, a "Zelda-like action-adventure" which also drew aesthetic inspiration from Hyper Light Drifter back in 2020.
Lila's Sky Ark will come to Nintendo Switch on April 21st, for $14.99 on the eShop.

The artwork is beautiful. I would like to read some hands-on impressions before deciding to buy, though. Not every developer has managed to nail the Zelda-like experience.
Such an artistic game, would definitely check it out soon.
It looks incredible, after playing the Crysis trilogy I'm going to need a POP of color so I'll probably play games like this when it releases.
Love the look, reminds me off Count Lucanor and Itta but the
has kind of put me off
@Bunkerneath If games are truly an art form, the medium should then be allowed to have content that explores such things openly and freely. Would you also be put off by films or books or songs that explore heavier themes?
Games have as much place to explore deep themes as any other medium.
@KateGray
How long does it take you to come up with you subheadings?
Do they just come to you? Also are you ever like, "Aaarg! I could've written a punnier one!"
@CharlieGirl Oh i completely agree, but I just don't like depressing games, I play games to get away from my depression.
I get what people are saying here. It's great that game developers are exploring the medium to tell different stories and deal with heavy emotional issues. And while I've played some great games dealing with depression and grief, etc. It is a barrier because oftentimes I'm just not in the mood and I hesitate when I see those kinds of games.
@Kiwi_Unlimited it varies! Sometimes they come to me perfectly formed in a flash of inspiration, and sometimes I have to mull it over for HOURS (and ask for help from all the other writers). This one isn't one of my best, but it's alright!
Okay, that subheading is a good one. Probably not many will get it though.
