Several series-first features have been added in Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but one of the biggest is the ability for the player to take damage — from falling, or from aggressive Pokémon. But the player can't take potions, so if they get hurt, they have to flee from battle... Unless they find a Blissey, that is.
It turns out that Blissey and Chansey, the healing Pokémon that can often be seen in Pokémon Centers in the main games, will go out of their way to help your player if they need it.
Google Translation: "I had to take this test. In Pokémon Legends, a Blissey usually runs away when it notices you. But if you're injured, she approaches and "hopes" for your recovery, only to run away."
Surely they're just doing what most of the Pokémon in the game do, and being friendly towards the player? Nope! We tested it, and here's what we found.
First step: Take damage
You'll know when you did it when the border around the screen changes. It'll get progressively larger and darker, and turn red if you're about to die.
Second step: Find a Blissey (or a Chansey!)
These can be found easily in the Alabaster Icelands.
Third step: Hang out with the Blissey until you're all better
The Blissey will run off as soon as you're back to full health (and the healing process will be faster than usual!)

It just looks like she's laughing at my misfortune, lol
Just like one of the missions in the game! I won't spoil it though!
Aww adorable🥰
I %&^ love this game so much, I love it so much, I'm now going to go catch it, because I just can't, thats is one of the best things I could ask for in a pokemon game.
Alpha Blissey is also very handy for exp / money farming
That's incredible.
Love when games add little details like that
In Pokémon Legends: Arceus, Blissey is also a fabulous source of easy experience points. I see it, I immediately mash Close Combat. Great to see Blissey exp farming back!
"torce" in Portuguese means support. For this context can be translated as cheer or something like that.
That’s so adorable. Gonna play this game one week from today, and I’m so excited!
After spending so much time playing this I would find it very difficult to go back to a traditional Pokèmon game. I hope what they've done here becomes a new staple and keeps getting better and better.
@abdias yeah, "hope" isn't exactly wrong but "torce" could be better translated in that sentence as "she roots for your recovery"
Meanwhile, Alpha Chansey is trying to put you in the hospital.
This is adorable
Someone tell that to that Alpha Blissey that kept trying to destroy me with Hyper Beam!
@Ryu_Niiyama AND ITSELF, DAMN IT. I came across one this morning and the thing killed itself with Double-Edge before I could catch it.
@Bret Alpha Chansey: You won’t take me alive!!!!
