Following on from Xenoblade Chronicles 3 last week, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes has now been rated.
The rating is once again by the Australian Classification Board - revealing the new FE Warriors game has received an 'M' rating for Mature. According to the rating, it will contain fantasy themes and violence along with online interactivity.
This new Musou follows on from the original Fire Emblem Warriors game and is a spin-off of the latest mainline entry, Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Three Hopes will arrive on 24th June and is also receiving a limited edition version.

Another T rated game then!
I really hope this doesn't hurt Fire Emblem if it doesn't sell. I won't touch another musou game, but I want REAL Fire Emblem.
Really hype for this, the first FEW game was good, hopefully this one improve over that one.
@Maulbert I wouldn’t worry. Intelligent Systems has a crap ton of money to burn from FE3H and FEH revenue, on top of the goldmine they hit with Awakening. This is just IS and KT making use of whatever FE3H material didn’t make the cut and repurposing it.
@Maulbert
I think that much like Age of Calamity, this might end up becoming a huge success in terms of sales (do I dare wager for this to be second-best selling Musou?).
@Ramen756
My thoughts exactly. This is what Koei Tecmo did with Age of Calamity and it paid off quite well.
@Specter_of-the_OLED
Just pretend this is an entirely different game. That's the impression I had when I played the Age of Calamity demo. It'll probably be something that you couldn't easily compare to FEW unless you find the similarities.
My body is ready!
Hope this sells poorly and Nintendo have to release a proper FE game to get it back on track!
@andyg1412 You do realize that this is a spin-off, right? And that a proper fire emblem is still likely to be in development right now?
@Maulbert Don't worry, the franchise doesn't depend on this game.
@andyg1412 Do you think they are now only going to make FE Warriors games?
@Maulbert don't worry, acording to Emily Rogers, Nintendo may release a mainline Fire Emblem this year or early 2023

I really hope we get a demo soon. I'm very excited
@VoidofLight
Who's making it, then?
IS hasn't made an entire Fire Emblem since Echoes in 2017, and that was a remake with a small team.
The last time IS devoted a big team to a mainline FE was with Fates, which released in 2015 in Japan.
I don't think we have numbers on how many still actively work on FEH, but I can't imagine it's too many these days.
KT made the vast majority of 3H. At this point in time, they're as likely candidates to develop the next FE game as IS, if not more likely.
I don't mind Three Hopes or anything, but you gotta realize this is a spinoff being made by a team that otherwise could be working on a mainline title. Maybe they aren't because IS is working on the next one, we can't know.
@andyg1412 Dude this spin-off exist because we ask for it, Nintendo wouldn't make it happen if there's no interest for it. If you don't like it just go play the main Fire Emblem games, you're not missing out on anything if you avoid these.
Wow. What's next?
Star Fox Warriors: Lylat's Finest?
@MetalHawk Mushroom Kingdom Warriors
When this comes out there will be more DW reskins on the Switch than proper Zelda and Fire Emblem games put together, that's ridiculous.
@andyg1412 I would actually play that.
Well, at least we will have combat in this game, since FF Three Houses turned the series into a visual novel.
I'll probably get this but I do hope the genealogy remake is also coming. I don't even know what that would look like consider map design was really odd in that game and most of the really fire emblem stuff including the map types didn't exist until Thracia. I honestly kinda don't want it if it's still the same maps. It gets old capturing three castles outside per chapter over and over again
@andyg1412
This game releasing doesn’t mean that there isn’t a new one in development. I doubt it will sell poorly either
@BLD
What makes you say that Koei Tecmo developed most of three houses? I see where it was a collaborative effort but I haven’t heard a thing about one side making a majority of the game.
Looks like something I'd be interested in. Still need to grind through Samurai Warriors 5 first and finish another run on Three Houses, but..
@ModdedInkling It looks good, but honestly, from the only things they've shown so far, it looks like the most generic musou yet, hopefully they show more soon so I can change my mind, but it looks like just another musou more than any other warriors, just with an FE skin
@Hero-of-WiiU
What makes me say that? Interviews from both IS and KT confirming that's the case. IS made some amount of Silver Snow first, and then left KT to the rest. Interviews say IS did "most" of Silver Snow, although it's unclear if they mean actual programming work or just planning, because the engine for the game is KT's, the same used for FE Warriors.
@Edwirichuu
It seems like they might be following the same pattern as Age of Calamity, where the focus of the trailer is more towards setting the tone of the story rather than a focus on gameplay. Perhaps there might be a Nintendo Treehouse livestream that'll delve deeper into gameplay elements.
I'm optimistic there is going to be more. I would imagine they would follow what was done with Persona 5 Strikers, where most of the RPG elements are carried over and just the combat was changed to Musou.
I'm even more optimistic because another team at Koei Tecmo was responsible for co-developing Three Houses (even using a modified Musou engine). If anything, this could be more of a Fire Emblem game with Musou elements rather than a Musou game with Fire Emblem elements.
