These are fun times for League of Legends fans, especially those with a love of the extended lore; for example today has brought both Ruined King: A League of Legends Story and Hextech Mayhem: A League of Legends Story to the eShop. The former is a turn-based RPG and the latter a rhythm runner from Choice Provisions, so there's certainly variety on offer.
It's worth highlighting that two more titles were announced alongside those games this week, and they're both confirmed for Switch in 2022.
CONV/RGENCE: A League Of Legends Story is developed by Double Stallion Games and will be a "2D Action Platformer with an incredible art style that focuses on tight dynamic combat and unique exploration opportunities afforded by Ekko’s ability to travel in space and time."
Song of Nunu: A League of Legends Story is a single player adventure from Tequila Works, which developed RiME; though that title had some technical challenges on Switch, the studio certainly has good form in the genre. Here's hoping that with high profile backing the development team can produce a good Switch version of the game.
As we said before, it's a great time right now for those that enjoy the extended League of Legends lore. Let us know whether you're excited about these releases in the comments.

I LOVE Tequila works. But RiME and The Sexy Brutale are some of my very favorite Switch games - bad ports be damned.
Between enlisting Airship Syndicate and Tequila Works I would say Tencent and the League teams are harnessing some of the best indie talent around
@Donutsavant if Tencent is doing this and making good Switch ports, I might abandon my dislike of Tencent
The next comments are probably going to say "Lageue off Legantz Bad" or something idk
I’ve never played League of Legends, but this new Tequila Works project looks really cool. I’ll keep an eye on it.
This is old news. I guess NL was too busy telling us what was NOT coming to Switch to care earlier.
Song of Nunu looks like a fun romp. The others are meh.
Okay the nunu game looks great , didnt expect that
If only the games are as good as the TV show...
Both look pretty good actually.
I had only known LoL from playing Wild Rift a bit, but that amazing new LoL: Arcane show has made me start playing WR more often. It's a great idea to make full games for their characters as a lot of them have really great designs and stories.
@UglyCasanova its a good idea if it works out. The way they are milking the LOL franchise now is ... suprisingly successful. I couldn't recall any other franchise that worked out that great at least with so little attempts.
I don't care about LoL in general, but Arcane is among the most interesting series on Netflix in years. An absolute milestone in animation and art design, never seen anything like this. And these little projects also look like that LoL brandmanager did one amazing job in just controlling whats possible and who should do it. So its quite interesting to obserev what they're doing with that brand and how it keeps up over the next years.
man the art style has changed dramatically since I stopped playing lol.
These all look cool! After watching a bit of Arcane I'm glad there are now some games where I can actually play the lore and stories rather than read them outside the Moba.
I was actually just playing the original on PC, but I kinda want to get into Wild Rift or this now…
