In a pretty surprising move, Nintendo has uploaded a couple of songs from WarioWare: Get It Together! on YouTube, including one that's technically unreleased. Nintendo? Officially releasing its music for fans to enjoy legitimately? What's going on?
Yes, one of the catchy little ditties you'll no doubt have been humming along to while playing the game is 'Penny's Song'. You're probably familiar with it already if you've spent a decent chunk of time playing, but here it is for your listening pleasure:
Now, it turns out that Nintendo actually went to the effort of producing a special Spanish-language version of the same song, obviously intended for its Spanish audience. Weirdly, though, this version never made it into the game, so here's your only chance to hear it:
It's unclear why the track never made it into the game, but props to Nintendo for letting fans enjoy it online rather than locking it away for the rest of time.
WarioWare: Get It Together! is out now on Switch – and it's excellent.

Actually not bad, wish this would of been in the game.
@ECHIDNA
A patch to add this song back into the game could always make this dream of yours and mine come true…
I can't wait for Nintendo to DMCA itself for posting Nintendo music on YouTube.
In seriousness though, it's a very nice song, I need to finish playing this game actually.
What a bop. Best song in the game!
@Severian I wish they would patch in an online mode.
Sadly I've found it to be a lousy offline party game unless you're playing against people experienced with the game. Have found the multiple characters thing to be too overwhelming and complicated for casual gamers/non gamers... It really should have a one character mode for beginners. And these are people who love Mario Kart, Golf and Party, but they just couldn't get into WarioWare: Get It Together. Definitely the least accessible game in the series and that's a problem for a party game.
Why not just add it in as DLC?????? 🙄 🤦♂️
It's time for Nintendo to finally upload the soundtrack of their games on YouTube officially, there is a market for YouTubers that do that unofficially, it's free advertisement for games.
Unfortunately, even if Nintendo does that, they will care only for their most famous games, their most recent titles, and their official playlists will have a lot of songs missing, plus, pirates allow us to listen to deleted songs that were dummied out, still included in the files, and get ready for poor quality uploads.
The song is really catchy, but Penny probably has my most hated control scheme of all the characters in the game.
That's really nice, and maybe unprecedented, of them to post unreleased material like that. I hope they do more of that in the future
@RainbowGazelle Your GIF profile pic suits the comment and song playing in background perfectly LOL
@Clyde_Radcliffe I had a similar experience, some young family members just couldn't get into it and they're the only other people around me who actually play games so I was essentially done with it after just a couple of hours. As I said in another article a while ago, the lack of fun but dumb unlockables (like in the previous games) made me drop it pretty fast. I also felt, as somebody who's played games a lot more than my family, that even though the characters were different, going this route still meant that every microgame basically involved moving a character around the screen in some way or another which killed the variety for me. Still fun but it was short-lived and probably the most disappointing entry in the series for me.
Hopefully, this is the point Nintendo realises its a good idea to release their music on sites so that fans don't have to get illegally
I didn't play Get It Together!, but this fits her wanting to be a popstar in WarioWare Gold! From the sound of it, she didn't need a special potion to have a nice singing voice, which means Dr Crygor's suffering was for nothing, but that is the fate of the guinea pig.
That's really cool Nintendo! Love this song!
this music is really good, since 2017 Nintendo is killing with stellar songs.
Me listening to English version : what is this?!?!
Me listening to Spanish version : best song ever!
Wow the Spanish version sounds fantastic! I actually like it more than the English version. I wonder if the reason they uploaded it was their way to reward the singer's effort since they didn't put it in the game. Must be very disappointing for her to find out her version is the only one that wasn't added into the game, but I really don't understand why that is so... makes no sense to me as to why omit this version exclusively, that doesn't seem right, unless there is no Spanish voice acting in the game then maybe that could be why, correct me if I am wrong though cause i have not played this game yet.
I’d love to hear a version with all the alternate lyrics when you lose a microgame along the way.
This reminds me... i miss the Mona's pizza song lol.
Long story short me and my brother only call him "w" as I said it's a long story.
@Clyde_Radcliffe Some of the competitive modes like Duelius Maximus let you pick just one character, which I think is pretty well suited to a party environment. Kinda sucks you can't do that when playing co-op, though.
Something they really need to update the game with is a "Restart" button. It sucks when you die on the first microgame and you want to start over, but you have to quit all the way out and select your 3-6 characters AGAIN every single time. Very annoying.
this is adorable haha, makes me wish this game got more patches. online play, more characters, more single player options, ect. cause as people have said, its not the best party game for casual players, and thats half of the games content
gold and GIT did a great job with fan service and gave the characters more life than ever, so it makes me wish they focused on more single player modes for the more hardcore fans. gold had so many good ones that were cut out from GIT
@Pillowpants I think they knew Penny was more difficult, and that's why she's unlocked in her own level in the postgame where you can't switch to anyone else. It's kind of like a challenge mode.
That said, the coding of her water gun is pretty funny. Any minigame that involves manipulating water to wash or put out fire or something, Penny can just aim at the problem directly.
It's kinda catchy.
@swoose Yeah, she definitely has some use in a couple of minigames, but her inversed controls cause my brain to malfunction whenever I'm switched to controlling her. I suppose it's all a matter of training, as is often the case with WarioWare, once you start going for highscores.
