Uh-oh, gamplay footage of the Nintendo Switch release WarioWare: Get It Together! appears to have leaked online ahead of the official release later this week.
While it might not seem like a big deal - especially after Nintendo made a free demo available, if you want to go into the experience completely fresh, you might want to refrain yourself from searching for WarioWare footage on YouTube.
One video on the site (which we won't be sharing here on Nintendo Life) that was uploaded on 4th September has had more than 20,000 views at the time of writing and comes attached with the following description:
"I live in hong kong, and its notorious for selling games earluer than it should. I managed to get ahold of the game 8 days early, and heres my best attempt in all mix
"Once again, heavy gameplay spoilers. watch at your own discretion"
Nintendo Switch fans on social platforms have also been spreading the message about potential spoilers online:
Our own review of WarioWare: Get It Together! will go live tomorrow here on Nintendo Life. So, if you want to learn more about the game ahead of release without too many spoilers, this might be the best option.
Do you think you'll be getting this release later this week, or are you still not sure? Tell us down below.

Yikes. I hope people manage to stay spoiler-free. I've been doing relatively fine with spoilers, given I haven't looked anything up on Youtube, and that's the main spoiler area.
It's getting more and more difficult to avoid spoilers these days. I can hardly think of a recent Nintendo game that hasn't been heavily leaked before launch.
I'll be honest, I can't think of many games where spoilers matter less than Warioware
maybe dig dug.
Hmm I’ll stick with the demo until Black Friday.
I’m pretty sure Wario would approve.
I wouldn't want to accidentally learn any of the deep plot of this game and spoil the story 😨
This one looks to be a blast! With all the leaks one game that seems to more often than not fail in that department is smash bros. So many times I’ve heard about a certain leak and it be something else completely off the wall.
AGAIN WITH THIS
@FishyS I mean, the story, from what I heard, was pretty good. I mostly just wouldn't want to be spoiled on the micro-games.
Wario will only be upset if it hurts the games sales, let’s be honest.
If it get him more dough, he’ll be over the moon!
@somebread I mean, I guess part of the fun is learning what you're supposed to do. It can be pretty funny to see someone flip out or get angry because they weren't able to decipher the clue in five seconds to understand what they were supposed to do.
That said... it's gonna be really hard for me not to spoil myself on this game. [Edit: Well, that didn't take long.]
Reminds me of when Tetris on the Game Boy was spoiled back in the day....
People are getting overly sensitive about spoilers.
Wario Ware lives on it’s gameplay alone and not it’s plot…
I wish that they would send pre-orders early like they used to in the Wii U era. I got Mario Kart 8 four days before release. Now I get games on release date, or even later.
People who don't understand: more things than just story elements can be spoiled. People want to discover things for themselves even if it's not story related, and thus do not want these things spoiled for them. How is this hard to understand???
It's like, booting up a game and as you play, you discover it has all kinds of features, and in this case, micro games, which you absolutely never expected in a million years but it still puts a smile on your face when you discover them for the first time.
It really isn't just story elements that can be spoiled.
"spoilers."
oh no, I might see some gameplay of a minigame collection I'm interested in.
I better clutch my pearls!
I only play WarioWare for the PLOT, how could they spoil it!!!! /s
Spoilers don't have to be exclusive to the story. A lot of the charm of Warioware comes from seeing ridiculous microgames for the first time. Sure, that can only happen as many times as there are microgames, but I wouldn't want any of those little moments ruined for me by scrolling past a video of one on twitter or something.
I mean, who cares about WarioWare spoilers? Lol
@FishyS The lore of Warioware is so dense and complicated that these spoilers will undo our understanding of EVERYTHING. Kingdom Hearts is frivolous and simplistic compared to the volumes of narrative content and canon of Warioware.
As someone who lived in Hong Kong this is normal practice. Games would be out much earlier and there are always ways to get them earlier if you asked.
Give me all the spoilers. I’m going to hold off of the game for a while.
