Remember a couple of months ago, when we heard a rumour that Neopets could be coming to Switch? Well, don't be surprised if that never happens, but in the meantime, take a look at these rather nice combinations of Pokémon and the brushes from Neopets, and imagine a world in which the two live in harmony.
The art above was done by u/Scyphelle on Reddit, and includes all the Neopets brushes, from Origami to Polka Dot, combined with various Pokémon. These brushes were used in Neopets to recolour your pets, whether you wanted them to look like a zombie, a pirate, or a ghost; if you were a big Neopets fan, you might remember these brushes costing an absolute fortune.
We did say that Neopets on Switch is probably unlikely, but if it does ever happen, we'd love to see a collab with The Pokémon Company. We really want that Strawberry Rowlet.

I used to be a diehard neopian. I learned about the stock market from the site. I entered art and writing competitions. I also learned how to do math faster trying to win trophies. However, my accounts got frozen last year and I give up on trying to get them back. Played since 2002 so for more than half of my life. It hurt at the time, but at least I still have Nintendo games I suppose.
Digimon wasn’t invited because of the last time.
They knew it was their turn to bring refreshments.

Love seeing more fanart. There's lots of talented people out there that deserve more love. I still think this website could do with a weekly or monthly kind of "Feature Fan Art" articles. It could be a mixture of art that NL people have found and/or fan submissions.
Art is such a lovely way to bring fans of different things together, or to introduce people to potential new hobbies and interests.
Nexomon is great alternative to Pokémon on Switch, if anyone's interested btw!
This is such a cool idea that I’d love to see make it into an official Pokémon game. It would make your team that much more personal for sure.
The closest thing I can think of is in the Stadium games where the model’s color changed depending on the Pokémon’s nickname.

Neopets has been all downhill since the 2014 sale to JumpStart. The death of flash in 2020 was the final nail in the coffin. It's a real shame.
