Trove is a cool action/rpg mmo, a deep rabbit hole worth at least dipping a toe into. Kind of ran into a progression wall with Uber-4 worlds though.
Really tempted by Ys IX. If it wasn't for the fact I'm strapped for cash right now and that NEO TWEWY is out later this month I'd definitely be getting it. Would be great to see review at some point
I want Ys IX, but I'll pick it up a little later on. Not a bad week, overall. With MH Stories 2 next week, SS the week after and then Neo: TWEWY, July is looking like another great month for Switch owners that like JRPG's and adventure games.
How did you forget Mh Stories 2?
Pigeon Fight, obviously!
Ys XI will be shipping soon. Will get the silver case before year’s end.
Ys IX is intriguing, but it didn't receive the best review on PushSquare, so I'm keeping it off the wishlist for now.
We got that arcade archives game last week. Today should be Raiden if I'm to believe your own article.
mmmmm. Love me some SUDA 51 stuff! Will definitely ordering the deluxe for the The SilverCase 2425. Raiden should be out on the eshop today as well, but is not listed.
Does anyone know if Ys IX will make it physical in the west? I couldn't find about it in local retailers
@Bobb
Amazon, GameStop, Target, and Best Buy all have it physical.
It’s called the ‘Pact Edition’
Not sure why the Arcade Archives is on a delay every week with the presser, but Raiden comes out today. Will definitely be picking that up!
@Williamfuchs420 probably because it comes out on July 9th.
@Zach777 Thank you very much. I will look it up again
@fragranthills thats next friday so what do they do this Thursday to Thursday? Thats kinda odd i just figured it was you know next weeks releases.
@Williamfuchs420 Nintendo’s update day has been Thursday for awhile. I think it was Friday before that and it switched at some point in the Wii U era.
Now that games release literally every day of the week, it doesn’t really matter much. But the big “update day” is still Thursday regardless.
So begins Switch month lol. I'll be picking up Ys IX: Monstrum Nox physical the day it releases! Can't wait to dig into the series.
Excited for Ys IX: Monstrum Nox after playing Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. This past two weeks I've actually been playing a lot of Shining Resonance Refrain on my Switch. It reminds me a lot Ys VIII and I think has a better story so far and more interesting party actions.
@fragranthills It seems weird that the last place I recall playing a Raiden arcade machine was at an airport waiting room.
They had a pop machine, snack machine, and Raiden.
Pictooi looks interesting, but it's not listed on the eShop at all.
FYI, Ys IX has a demo for anyone interested.
Never knew Alphadia Genesis had a sequel coming, one of the few Kemco RPG I actually enjoy. Would definitely get that one soon. Already got Ys IX coming as well.
I pity the kids who ask for Dragon Quest for their birthday, and end up with Dragon Question.
Can't wait to get Ys IX: Monstrum Nox. The demo sold me almost instantly.
Unless you have an aversion to classic retro shmups, "Raiden" should be a very easy purchase decision.
Glad to see so much enthusiasm for Ys!
