Inmost, from developer Hidden Layer Games, is an intriguing title that tells a dark and at times troubling tale. It does so with a great deal of style and some impressive narrative moments, as we explained in our Inmost review.
It's now getting a physical release via Super Rare Games; as is the norm for the limited edition specialists copies will come with a manual, interior artwork, a sticker and three trading cards. There'll be 5000 copies in total, with 2000 of those being steelbook editions.
Sales will open on 20th May at 6pm BST, which is 7pm CEST or 10am Pacific / 1pm Eastern in North America - as always this'll be on the Super Rare Games website.
Are you hoping to add Inmost to your physical collection?

Jep, getting this one! also looking forward to their deponia release
Yes. I am getting this one!
I hope the next one is Vigil!
I've had my eyes on this game, learning about it before it was announced for Switch, but having faith it was a matter of time. This looks gorgeous, but I simply cannot justify the price... Especially not now that Brexit made it so that those highway robbers ("customs") are definitely going to hold it hostage until I pay them as well ("import and handling fees"). As if shipping cost and the product price alone wasn't already a big reason to skip on many games I'd gladly have bought physically... This "limited print" market and the ridiculous prices and absolutely criminal "fees" are actually what pushed me over the line to say "f it, i'm going mostly digital, and wait for DEEP sales."
I'm more curious about what SRG haven't announced. We know Vigil, Deponia Collection, and Super Crush KO are coming soon. But they're not guaranteed to come in back-to-back-to-back. Give us a nice surprise, Mr. Perkins.
What is everyone's impressions on this game? Would love to add it to the collection, but I haven't seen much about it really at all.
I wish all companies would adopt the we will make enough games to cover the pre-orders model.
