If you cast your mind back to the Wii days, we were graced with more silly plastic accessories than you could wave a Wii Remote-supported Stick™ at. Of course, with the Nintendo Switch reaching similar giddy heights of popularity the wacky accessories are back, just with slightly smaller slots in which you can clip your Joy-Cons.
First up, aiming for the release of Mario Golf: Super Rush, we have 'Venom Super Rush Golf Club Joy-Con Controller Adaptors', which arrive on 25th June. They look small enough that you'd need to be 5 years old for the club to actually get close to the floor (that's the target audience, to be fair). But you know you want them so they can sit next to your Wii Remote Golf Adapters that you have stashed in the back of your cupboard.

Next, though, we have the pièce de résistance of accessories. That's right, in Japan a company called 'Answer' is releasing 'Brass Knuckle for Nintendo Switch', shipping 30th July.
When future generations look back on Nintendo's most successful hardware, and if all other data is lost, they can dig up discarded plastic accessories. The more there are, and the wackier the varieties, the more systems were sold.
Anyway, you're actually planning to get those Brass Knuckles, aren't you?

Urban champion deluxe?
Brass knuckles? Probably intended for Fitness Boxing players. Otherwise...completely ridiculous.
ARMS 3 & Knuckles confirmed?
Gives you a tighter grip for those boxing games
Console wars?
So the console war has turned into a real war, and Nintendo has become the first company to manufacture arms for it.
@Ralizah ARMS (2017)
Hmmm... wouldn't have thought of brass knuckles. This could be interesting.
Are you talking to me?
More like plastic knuckles.
Now I finally have a reason to play Arms. But could also imagine motion support for Streets of Rage 4 with this accessory.
What next... a Nintendo Switchblade XD
who needs HD rumble when these already help you feel the real deal
Brass knuckles! That's some serious gaming. Someones afraid of having their lunch mone...I.P.'s stolen.
But yes I won't order these. If I see these impulse buy 150%!
I looked up Fitness Boxing 2 on Amazon the other day to see how much it retailed for and, other than the game, all of the listings were for variations on the knuckleduster accessory from random 3rd party sellers.
Cool, a gaming accessory that's actually illegal to buy in some places.
If you're fingers are in those, you're not using buttons.
I still like the cord between the controllers. Could choke someone out who did you wrong in Mario Kart.
"These belong to a Switch owner you don't want to mess with"
I'd take my chances against a guy with the "brass knuckle" accessory. Due to drift, they'll likely struggle to land a solid blow.
I glued a Kitchen knife to my Joycon and made a Switch blade.
Those knuckles look awesome! I need a set!
@stinky_t
Arms 3?
What happened to Arms 2?
I want this for Arms!
Was my first thought when seeing the article.
@Spider-Kev it was for mobile i guess, idk, I don't make the rules, my uncle who works at Nintendo does
Self defense tool for if you get assaulted while gaming on the go. Just detach and ATTACK
NINJA APPROVED
And even if I would, so what? Geez... what is wrong with this world that you need to complain about everything? Will umbrellas follow soon because you can use it as a weapon, too?
@Ulanda There’s a great fight scene in a movie called Iron Monkey that involves a kid with an umbrella fighting off thugs in a Chinese market place! Check it out if you haven’t yet, it’s a fun little kung fu flick!
@sdelfin That was legit hilarious man!!
I'm not even sure these look comfortable to hold let alone use the buttons while being gripped.
@BloodNinja I'm not sure, but I will look it up late. Thanks for the hint
@BloodNinja Thank you! It felt like a good one when it materialized in my mind. Glad others liked it too.
Those knuckles would likely be illegal in Australia.
Have you ever been so angry...
...you punched somebody in the face with a video game controller?
It brings a whole new meaning to "fighting games."
Until you drift to the right and miss that uppercut.
I'll pass.
@Spider-Kev I own a set, they are a ton of fun
