It's nice to see some Nintendo first-party hits in there, as well as some of our favourite third-party multiplayer offerings.
Make sure to check back tomorrow to see all the discounts available, and in the meantime, let us know if any of the deals listed above take your fancy with a comment.

I mainly play single player games these days so I suspect that there ain't gonna be a lot for me there.
Espero estas ofertas estén dispónibles para América tmb.
Still waiting for that GRID physical. They can do one if they think 30% off is enough to force me to go digital.
There's some deals there. Even if you're a solo player the amount of great games with lots of solo content like MK 11, LEGO CITY Undercover, Dragonball Fighter Z, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 etc makes it still worth a look.
Killer Queen, Heave ho and streets of rage 4 are solid pickups
Very tempted by Puyo Puyo Tetris 2! It should be about £22 on sale which seems kind of a fair price.
Splatoon is on its last legs and Nintendo still only discount it 33% - what a joke!
At these discount levels I think I will be giving Sony and Microsoft my money in their spring sales.
That's a lot of great deals!
NINJA APPROVED
@BloodNinja Mark of the Ninja is on sale at the moment too. That sounds like your cup of tea.
Well, that's a distraction from Mario for sure. I knew Nintendo needed something to lure gamers away from an anti-consumer practice.
I bought FastRMX on Day One, Switch Launch.
Why am I still so utterly utterly pants at it!?
@Mr_Humpf I dunno, that sounds like a bit of a busman's holiday for @BloodNinja
just to inform there is borderland 2 handsome collection at 14.99 £ already on sale
This is why I had multiple regional accounts on Switch so I could take advantage of these exclusive deals.
” Discounts will reach as much as 75% of”
Well according to the list it’s even reaching 84% With Dragon Ball FigtherZ
@Mr-Fuggles777 you mean the 3-8% they give off games that cost £79.99 on the Xbox / PS stores? Yeh, have fun with those =0p
@Ghost_of_Hasashi Im hoping NoA announces this for ths US and Canada tomorrow
What's the discount on Kirby? Is it any good?
Great sale! I'm going to pick up Overwatch and Diablo.
I really need to accept that these exclusive Nintendo games are never going to be less than 1/3 off.
@VenomousAlbino @Mr_Humpf Admittedly, I've never tried mark to the ninja, how is it?
Hope this will be the same in NA eshop.
@BenAV
there are already: civilization VI 14.84£ , crisis 14.99 , BioShock collection 15.99£, xcom 2 11.99£ ,outer world 24.99, call of Juarez gunslinger 8.99£, Invisible, Inc. 12.59£ ,green hell 11.24£ and borderland 2 14.99£(you can play solo) on discount from today just to give you some names, probably they will add more separate from these multiplayer sales
@eltomo Nintendo reduced a couple of games (Paper Mario and Mario Tennis) by 35% in Europe recently instead of 33%.
@Clyde_Radcliffe
probably a mistake they will ratified quickly kk
@gcunit
It is a great game and that is a great price, only one losing out is yourself.
@Clyde_Radcliffe
I sure hope someone got fired for that blunder!
Is there some sort of archaic law in Japan that bans any first party Nintendo game from being discounted by more than 33/35%? They've been doing nothing but that "deal" ever since the Switch came out.
@sikthvash Sony and Microsoft's sales are infinitely better than Nintendo's.
I picked up The Last of Us 2 just the other week for less than £20.
Most games I buy on those consoles I barely spend in the double digits.
@sikthvash Microsoft and Sony do really good sales.
I just had a look through the switch sale and its mostly shovelware with a handful of games that seem like a half decent deal.
A quick look on xbox and the tombraider survivor trilogy is 60% off, Crash 4 series X version is 35% off - not including the free game you get with your online subscription.
Then Nintendo is still doing 33% on 4 year old software whilst not giving any free games with NSO
Still cheaper physical
@Clyde_Radcliffe Buy Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 from Mexico and it's under £16.
@TryToBeHopeful not really. it's very short and VERY easy. made for small children
@Mr-Fuggles777 Crash 4 is a promotion because it hasn't sold well, & that's been like that since day one. Tomb Raider collection is also a day one deal before Square Enix put it back up to full price - in this case, the first two games have either been free or in the region of £4-10, so it's only a deal if you haven't played / owned all three.
I agree, there's always a huge amount of shovelware nonsense, then there's the Switch tax & the rubbish 1st party discounts, but then that can be said for all consoles. Xbox sales have always been pants, but I do admit Sony sales have been better in the latter half of the PS4 days.
@ImagineerNik most of the sales barely bring them in line with the physical copies - look at Red Dead 2, Immortals, Hitman 2 & 3 etc.TLOU2 may be an exception, but then the reviews on that game are polarising.
@BloodNinja Mark of the Ninja is a fantastic 2D stealth game. If you ever enjoyed Splinter Cell or other great 3D stealth games, MotN is basically that in 2D (which allows for some quicker action now and then), with a ninja, and nicely animated cut scenes.
@sikthvash in fairness with Gamepass I hardly ever look at the sales on Xbox as I don't need to buy any games for it.
I would pick more up on the Switch if they were Competitively priced but they never are.
@Shambo Thanks! I'll keep it on my radar!
NINJA APPROVED
Had my eye on Bomberman and Fast RMX for a while, and, whilst they both seem cool, the one issue is, I have no friends
@Jayenkai same here. And with responsive controls and 60FPS there's no excuse. But it's just too hard!!
@Mr-Fuggles777 aye, Gamepass is fantastic ^_^
There's some good deals on the eshop at the mo for the 2K titles like Bioshock & Borderlands. Oh and Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy is only £72 =0p
@sikthvash ive bought them all on original release and then both Bioshock and Borderlands have been given away on the other systems so I find it difficult to justify paying again - especially as there aren't any trophies/achievements to hunt down on switch.
@BloodNinja playing it at the moment, and it's freaking awesome.
Probably the best "pure" stealth game ever made, purely on the basis of how they handle feedback on the status of your character, the enemies, lights, sounds, etc..
It's a game where, when you lose, it's because you screwed up.
I'd say look it up on YT, Purposeless Rabbitholes for example has a good video about it!
@clvr Interesting, I like stuff like that, actually. Is there much handholding? Is the story skippable/forced?
@Mr-Fuggles777
You get Tetris 99 on NSO, better than all the games on Gold and PS Plus combined!
I am only half joking, love that game.
@BloodNinja you can skip the cutscenes, but for now I'll say I personally found them pretty brief and to the point. Also, the animation is very good, and reminiscent of early noughties CN shows like Samurai Jack.
The first 3 or so stages are a bit tutorialized to get you to learn the basics, but soon enough you'll be starting a level, choosing your upgrades and playstyle (among the unlockables you get for certain milestones) and off you go.
Also, you're free to explore the level as much as you want and engage (or otherwise) with the optional objectives, based on your completionism and interest.
@clvr Hm, don’t know why I gave this a pass when it first came out. It really sounds like my jam. I’ll try it later today, thanks for the in depth recommendation!
NINJA APPROVED
@sikthvash No, they literally discount a lot of their their big-hitters to like sub-£20 regularly after a couple years.
@BloodNinja you're welcome mate, it's always a pleasure recommending stuff I like!
Have a good one my friend, hope you enjoy 😃
Guess I'll boot it up for a level as well ahahah
How unsurprising.
"You kids enjoyed Mario 35? Playing online is pretty fun, right? Well have we got some game for you!!"
While I of course love a sale, browsing through a list of 800+ games on the Switch eShop is a painful experience. It is so slooooooowwww! Another 190 games isn't going to help
@Mr-Fuggles777 regardless, these games always chart so their customers are telling Nintendo they’ll bite at 33% off, and let’s be honest, they’re selling copies whether they’re on sale or not, so REALLY there isn’t much incentive for Nintendo to give deeper discounts 🤷♂️
@Mr-Fuggles777 Popular online games don't generally drop that much in price until the sequel comes out. It's still got a good 12 months left in this one, which is more than most get
@BloodNinja It's really good - fantastically well executed stealth gameplay with just the right amount of action. Really cool art style too. Worth checking out. NL rated it 9/10.
On the list that is up there I have ALL those games already bar Nidhogg 2!
I'll investigate any more in the depths of my wishlist and the discount searches on eshop.
@clvr @Mr_Humpf Thank you both! I just got it, $4.99 is nothing so I’ll be trying it later this evening!
NINJA APPROVED
@Big_Fudge Gears 5, Outriders and Halo Infinite would like a word - All free Day 1 with Gamepass (and if you were going to buy just 1 of those games with DLC you have effectively got 12 months gamepass for the same price).
Apart from refusing to discount it, Nintendo can't even manage voice chat and team based matchmaking for a shooter like splatoon. It sells so well because there are no alternatives on the System.
@BloodNinja awesome, that's an absolute steal!
@Mr-Fuggles777 Gamepass costs like £180 a year, assuming Splatoon 2 only lasts a year, it's still £150 cheaper than those games if you wanna go down that route.
I might have to get Streets of Rage 4! Anyone would be down for a game round?
@clvr Yeah, I'm stoked! Thanks again
how about putting the DLCs on sale as well ?
steam introduced a online version of download play that was on the ds and 3ds, would rather have that.
@BenAV you can always solo overcooked
For anyone that hasn't already played it and has half an interest, definitely Fast RMX. Perfect when I want to just pick up and play for 10 minutes, have over 40 hours in the game, and I still have things to do to 100% it.
Finally! Good Job on sale!
@Mr-Fuggles777 if that were true we wouldn't have Splatoon 3 coming
Ooh, Crash Bandicoot Trilogy and Need For Speed 50% off. Raymond Legends 75% off.
Quite a good sale, this one.
I just brought Mousecraft for £3.50... a Lemmings style game mixed with Tetris I've been curious about.
@Pod between this and 3d all stars FOMO effect, Nintendo have taken to the psychological approach it seems!
Think I might get Good Job, 9/10 review on the site so should be good @ £12.59
@sikthvash you buggin bro my son just payed 10 bucks for the full witcher collection meanwhile over in eshop lalaland i had to pay 40 dollars cause thats the best deal they had on the game
after being out a year and change.
nintendo is too good to have a good sale on there games so they do the crap 33% trick and people flock like roaches..
Still waiting for that GRID physical. They can do one if they think 30% off is enough to force me to go digital.
@gcunit Since the purchase of Codemasters by EA, I've been feeling depressed about the entire affair. How would you rate the odds of a physical release appearing?
I hope Good Job is on sale! That game deserves more recognition than it got.
Japan and Europe always get the good stuff... I feel like US misses out on a lot.
@gcunit Feral have made it pretty clear there isn't going to be a physical release of GRID Autosport. I'd just move on if I were you.
@COVIDberry Given that they said last year they don't have any plans for a physical release, I think it's safe to say there isn't going to be a physical release.
No Smash again I guess.
Might pick up Puyo Puyo Tetris 2.
I finally caved on Good Job, BoxBoy + BoxGirl, and The Stretchers as I have lost hope in any of them getting a physical release (compilation or otherwise), though I would gladly double-dip if that ever happens.
BoxBoy is addictive but tough to master, Good Job is great fun and highly recommended for those who loved the slice-of-life chaos of Untitled Goose Game, and The Stretchers will definitely be a lot more playable in multiplayer (single player controls are quite awkward), but I have liked what I have seen of it so far (it's Crazy Taxi with paramedics).
Without articles like this is difficult to spot good discounted games, eshop has become a garbage collector. Tons of useless games
Got some fighter Z!
Cannot recommend Streets of Rage 4 enough. I love playing this game with my teen daughter. Looking forward to the DLC.
done i loaded 50 quid
bought wolf stein II new colossus
now I still have 27.45 and few cents golden point
I don't know what combination to choose :
Serious Sam Collection + Children of Morta
Serious Sam Collection + Project Warlock
Children of Morta + Project Warlock
Serious Sam Collection + Borderlands: The Handsome Collection
Serious Sam Collection + Project Warlock
A Hat in Time + Project Warlock
A Hat in Time + Children of Morta
@Vriess it’s a gem! Can’t wait for the download either. If you like this game maybe you should try the takeover.
