Gogeta [SS4] Has Joined The Dragon Ball FighterZ Roster

I know people don't really like GT but you can't lie that they had great character designs. I'm not going to buy it (I think) but if it goes on sale I'm game. Edit: OMG I just watched it and they have a dramatic finish just for fan service OMG Its sooooo cool I need this I will need to get both of em, Might wait for a sale but tis so AWWsome.

Their movement may be kinda meh but...that one hit level 7...

And UI is now a balanced character???

I need to sit down, I was originally dissapointed in this character pic but arcsys did their magic and made it perfect

GT was never my cup of tea (though it looks WORLDS better than Super) but SS4 Gogeta is an amazing love letter to the series. Nice to see the devs taking a measured approach to balancing as well. Can't wait until 3-10 to play him.

Is GT not canon? It easily can be as just like how future Trunk timeline is vastly different and we are getting 3 GT characters for sake.

I know they are “different” technically, but I’m tired of them picking the same character multiple times each. How many Gokus, Gogetas, etc. do we need!!! Master Roshi was a great choice in this pack

Radditz haven't had enough screentime to make an impact. A real waste of Goku's brother.

@Wavey84 SSJ4 gogeta is a better choice than getting another Goku and Vegeta regardless. We already have UI Goku, Base Goku, SSJ Goku, GT Kid Goku, SsjBlue Goku, Ssj Vegeta, Base Vegeta, Ssblue Vegeta. Ffs give us a damn break with the Gokus and Vegetas. We have enough of them.

this is one of the best fighting games. And I am not even a Dragonball fan. I got so impressed with it that I bought both blazblue games. But they are not even 10% as good as Dragonball.

Still one of my favorite character designs of the series.
Imho, it's a great "bookend" design bringing the super saiyan transformations back to its Oozaru roots.

I'm really glad that the games and especially the Heroverse never let go of the GT transformations ^^

GT has all my favourite character designs in the Dragonball series, so I'm glad to see some of them in FighterZ. Just missing Omega Shenron and Super 17.

SS4 is also my fav SS transformation, so when Gogeta from Super got announced I was so sad that I probably couldn't get the original anymore but somehow he made it in.

Although 5 Gokus, 2 Gogetas and 1 Vegito is a bit of an extreme overkill.
Aside from that also 3 Vegetas, 2 Brolys, 2 Gohans and 2 Buus.
Still a cool roster, but could have been a lot better.

OG Dragon Ball never seems to get any love.

Demon King Piccolo should have been in this game.

I like Super Baby 2 and SSJ4 Gogeta, but it annoys me how most Dragon Ball games(unless they are centered only on OG) ignore the era of Goku's childhood.

Fighter Z is not alone in this. Somehow Xenoverse 2 could include Raspberry who was the Frieza Force minion who only showed up in filler and got killed by a giant crab, but they can't include Demon King Piccolo who is one of the most important villains in the franchise?

Remember when unlocking characters meant doing things in game instead of pulling out the credit card? Man, I am old!

Every time the characters get more powerful, does their hair grow bigger and bigger? Pretty soon they'll have soo much hair that it will fall down and they will look like Swamp monsters. Super Swamp Balls

@SuperCharr It's just in general I prefer unlocking things in games by playing the games. There's a lot worse options for DLC, characters are probably my second most acceptable option as DLC, but at the same time, it seems like it's just standard now to have "unlockables" in games be more based around DLC than in game progression.

At least Smash has both. You unlock a bunch of the base game roster, and then there's DLC.

I'm really not anti-DLC at all. But I do think that DLC should really feel like additional content and new things. Something like a variation of a character who is already in the game feels like it should be unlockable in said game.
