Glass Bottom Games, the indie game developer behind SkateBIRD, has shared a brand new trailer which shows off a previously unseen level from the game.
You might remember SkateBIRD as one of the stars of the December 2019 Indie World Showcase – it was originally planned to kickflip onto to Switch eShop in 2020, but has since been pushed back. It's now destined to arrive on Nintendo's system, as well as PC and other consoles, later this year.
Back to the new trailer, the video above shows off the 'Rooftop' stage, a "densely packed course with ramps perfect for reaching new heights." A demo of the game will soon be playable thanks to the Steam Winter Festival taking place from today until 9th February, so make sure to check out SkateBIRD's Steam page if you're interested in giving that a go.

Drop-in, tune out, and shred to your heart’s content across micro skateparks created from household objects perfect for bird-sized skaters. Link combos together, pull off steezy lines, unlock hot new gear, and attract fans.
Will you be keeping an eye out for this one when it lands on Switch later this year? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.

I will gladly spend my money on the concept alone.
Really which they had gone with SkateBIRB instead of SkateBIRD
Never heard of this game but I want it to succeed.

Nice ending.
Very interested in this. Especially as there's no signs of the Tony Hawk's remakes on Switch.
I like that they didn't just put a bird in there for novelty but you can actually flap and grasp and do unique bird only tricks.
Any Untitled Goose Game crossover planned?
Secret unlockable character Tiny Hawk, please
Disappointed that the rooftop level doesn’t look like the roof from The Room.

Hey, if Tony Hawk wants to just leave my money on the table...
