Pokémon's 25th-anniversary celebrations continue to unfold and the merchandise keeps coming. Fans of collectable figures can look forward to a new wave of Funko Pops, and Pokémon Black and White's enigmatic N is getting the official treatment too.
Next up are some natty Nanoblock sets, which are due to launch by April 2021. As revealed by Rakuten, there are two new ones coming in standard size, based on Kubfu and Garchomp. Both are currently listed at ¥1099 on Rakuten's Japanese site.
Fans can also look forward to a 6 figure mini set based around grass-types, which comes in at ¥3120 and holds 65 pieces. We don't know the full lineup included for this set just yet, only that it contains Bulbasaur and Venosaur.
Are you a fan of Nanoblocks? Will you be picking up any of these? Let us know in the comments.

I would really like a lego set then nanoblocks.
Compare how this looks to how the Lego NES looks (or to how most Lego sets look) and you can see why Lego is a relatively premium product.
I didn't know there were Pokemon Nanoblocks, are they only available in Japan?
Love these, I've got the Charizard and Buneary sets so far. I'm also going to get the relevant Lego bricks to make a larger Charizard
Maybe it's just the way that my eyes work, but these just look like a jumbled mish-mash of blocks to me, rather than anything in particular!
I really cannot recommend the Nanoblock sets.
I have an Eevee that keeps falling apart. And that's aside from not being a particularly interesting pose or shape. :-/
Got a bunch of these from Game on Black Friday and they're so fun to put together, look great to display too
Gotta admit I'm kinda surprised these are still being made and we don't have an official LEGO set since Nintendo has already done LEGO Mario
@FroZtedFlakerZz The Pokemon Company handles merchandise and product deals with other companies. Pokemon has been tied up in Mega Construx and Nano Blocks for the past several years, hence why LEGO can’t make any sets based off of it.
It took ages for LEGO to get a hold of the Mario building block toy license too, and considering the route they’ve gone with gameifying all of the sets in the line, I wouldn’t be surprised if they would attempt to do the same with Pokemon.
That Garchomp looks like it might fall over any second now...
While not the quality of Lego, nanoblocks are affordable and great for sets like Pokémon where you have some many to choose from. Got a good few packs when I was in Japan 2 years ago. Love them.
For a second I thought this article was about a new Pokémon called Nanoblock, due to the way it's phrased, haha.
