We had fun with Moving Out back in April last year. Bringing a fantastic soundtrack and accessible gameplay, we gave it 7 out of 10 stars, mainly being disappointed that it didn't offer more. Developed by SMG Studio, Team 17's latest co-op multiplayer outing was quite successful and saw a previous update back in July. Confirmed today, a new update is on its way and it completely inverts the original premise.
Suitably called "Moving In", it shows us what happens after we've loaded our furniture into a removal van. Playable with up to three friends locally, this update is available for 12 of Moving Out's original levels, unpacking those vans and placing your items into a new home.
It also offers an auto snap option within the assist mode, telling you exactly where each item needs to go. Furthermore, it now has character customisation options too, letting players change their shirts, and includes two new dance moves.
There's no specific release date for this update just yet but we'll keep you posted as we learn more. If you missed out on the game before, there's a free eShop demo available too, so why not give it a try?
Did you play Moving Out when it launched? Looking to dive in now? As always, let us know down below.

We've played through part of the main game and made the mistake of turning on some of the accessiblity features.
They are great for those who need them but the lack of difficulty made the game boring very fast, so we eneded up restarting with the enforced limits.
Amazing game, doesnt quite reach the levels of Overcooked but a fine new entry into the co-op chaos arena
Moving In looks harder as you have to arrange the specific furnitures.
Own it and played through it. We found it WAY too difficult as the sloppy controls are part of the experience.
With all the accessibility options on it is boring and pointless.
With them all off it is frustration with a capital F! With some on it is fun for a dedicated coop group. Not a stand out, but worth playing!
I brought it ages ago on sale but not playing it until I complete Overcooked 2 as I have a rule not to play two very similar games at once. It helps me to focus and complete my games instead of playing too much together.
It's still on my wishlist
@LEGEND_MARIOID it was on sale in europe and it is on sale now in US. Unless you don’t live either places
Nice! I picked this up on Black Friday for $15; I've enjoyed it so far.
Was pretty good only used the extended timer on the last stage cause it was getting rather frustrating but other than that recommended.
Looking forward to it. I managed to pick up a brand new physical copy for $12.99 from Best Buy a few weeks ago. I wanted the game when it came out but I didn't want to pay $40. I'm glad I waited.
