The very first gameplay trailer for Ben 10: Power Trip has appeared online, giving us our first glimpse of the action you can expect to experience later this year.
You can check it out for yourself above; you'll spot some fan-favourite alien transformations, as well as a sneak peek at the "action-packed open world" and couch co-op gameplay the game is said to offer.
If you missed the news when the game was first announced back in June, here's a reminder of what it's all about:
"Ben 10: Power Trip takes place in the animated universe of Ben Tennyson, where he uses his trusted Omnitrix to transform into different alien creatures and save the world. The game tells a unique story where Ben must uncover the truth behind four mysterious crystals that threaten to take over his world. Players will be able to transform into powerful aliens and work together to battle fearsome foes in this co-op adventure".
The game's scheduled to launch on 9th October on Switch and other platforms.

Looks absolute rubbish.
I'm still sad that they ruined the Ben 10 show. This game does not look promising...
Ouch. Am I the only one that thinks some of this looks a bit rough around the edges, lighting wise? I'm sure the game itself will be fine (the kind of game that'll be worth a look if you like the property or remember the original series from your childhood like I do/you find it in the bargain bin) but this definitely doesn't look like it'll be worth more than $20 for me.
Instinctively, I almost wanna call it Ben 10: Rise of Lyric lol
I am not Ben 10 fan but i really appreciate Outright Game to provide more kids games on multi consoles. 🙂
The upcoming Paw Patrol on multiconsoles was a little bit intriguing for me.
I didn't know they were also porting Wii games to the Switch.
Yeesh, this game looks rough. Looks like a PS2 game.
Wow, this game looks absolutely terrible. Almost as bad as the actual reboot itself.
About the level of quality to be expected from Outright Games.
God, this looks worse than the Actual Ben 10 games on Wii (and honestly the first one on Wii was pretty enjoyable)
It looks so empty what ever happen to you ben 10.
I've been off the TV grid for some time now, but is this what they've turned Ben 10 into? I didn't have regular access to the show even when I did watch TV, but I really enjoyed what I did get to see.
Good to see OutRight is keeping that infamous LJN bloodline of licensed crap alive and well as we move into the 2020s.
But seriously... this looks horrible. Are we POSITIVE someone good like Capcom wasn't available for this? Even their worst would look a lot better than this.
Wow, the PS1 could do some amazing stuff late into its lifespan!
Is this coming to the GameCube?!
Wow this looks like complete garbage.
Wow, Ben's character model only makes me think one thing.
Mighty No. 10
Im a sucker for co-op games. Especially couch co-op so I was hoping this might be something fun to play with my kids but it looks awful. The platforming, the fighting, the graphics all look pretty terrible. Oh well, I guess I’m moving on from this one.
I feel like some 2d cartoon characters don't translate well to 3d models. Reboot ben is one of those characters. When ever I look at his 3d model I think of some cheap 3d cartoon for Kids. The game itself looks... Ok.... The lighting looks quite good for a ben 10 game and the co-op concept is interesting, but the rest does not look that great.
I was always more of a Beyblade and Pokémon kid, but it makes me so sad to see the new Ben 10. How did they turn a pretty good action cartoon into... well, that?!
Day. One. Purchase.
The proprietor of this IP is certainly on a power trip
A lot of oneliners. 😅
It’s 2020 not 2002
I was never a fan on Ban 10 and even I feel bad at what has been done to him.
This looks really bad.
This looks like one of those mediocre beat em up platformers that would've come out around the same time as Skylanders' peak.
also, Ben 10 was never that good, let alone this garbage reboot thing. The DC stuff that was airing before/during its time blew it out of the water.
@Alpha-2002
I am POSITIVE with Outright Game release.
I said it aloud because i trust Outright Games can deliver more kids games for multi consoles including Switch.
The game doesn’t look good but come on guys. This looks like a perfect game for my 6 year old nephew who is just getting into gaming. It’s not suppose to be deep.
@Erviper You could give anything to a kid to play with.
It doesn't make this any less garbage.
There much better things you could give them.
Another Ben 10 game? I thought the series went to hell where it belongs.
This is NOT Ben 10. It’s some crap rip off in my eyes and I prefer to see it that way.
@Alpha-2002
What has Capcom done in the 3D/2D platforming scene lately that gives you such confidence?
Oh nice, they're remastering N64 games now!
I don't understand with hatred of this game.
It might be not stellar as Nintendo 1st party or AA 3rd party games but who cares.
There are still peoples who can accept kind of this game just the way it is, not because of cash grab factor but the games has their audiences.
I'm not a fan of Ben 10 but i really appreciate Outright Games to deliver more kids games in the future, whatever kids franchises they will bring.
I didn't even think the graphics of that Ben 10 game was crappy.
It looked decent enough of proper 3D graphics, at least looked like PS2 games got remastered on PS3.
@Old_Man_Nintendo More so the effort of recent titles, I think.(Although yeah, poor Mega Man needs more love...)
@Anti-Matter To each their own, but you (or your kids) can do a lot better than this.
@RPGamer You're right, it is their job to report games. Games that actually matter. Normally this game would be passed right over but because these poor wittle gaming journalists can't leech off of the hype, they report ***** like this to get clicks.
They're so desperate, it's hilarious.
That image is...no. Just no. The nostalgic people can have it, hard pass from me.
@Anti-Matter kids need games, I guess. Mario is kinda a kids game, same with Pokemon (if I made someone pissed off with that sentence, mission accomplished). Kids don't just eat up random crap, they like good games too, they just don't make whole articles about it and comment on those articles.
@RPGamer Kids dont visit this website. Cmon, think a little bit.
@Alpha-2002
No, you can think better than this.
Just leave from this article and do something else rather than condemning this game.
Also, i'm single.
@RPGamer
Let's leave from those peoples for a while.
They are haters that don't deserve our opinions.
@MeowMeowKins
Excuse me, madam.
You can keep your salty opinions somewhere else.
I didn't think that Ben 10 game was bad despite i wasn't a Ben 10 fan.
I really appreciate Outright Games as the publisher of this game and other kid's franchises from Nickelodeon or Cartoon Network.
And please do not tagging me and other users aggresively to counter the opinions.
Every peoples have their taste and judgement. What is crappy for you might be a diamond for someone.
@Anti-Matter What makes this game - a cheap, licensed tie-in - better than Zelda: BOTW, Sonic Mania, Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy, Undertale, Pokémon Sword/Shield, Super Mario Odyssey, Celeste, or many other fine games suitable for all ages... many of which have a lot more effort and love put into them?
If you still want to buy it, then by all means go ahead. I'm just saying that there are much better options on Switch which still eschew the blood and gore found in many AAA titles nowadays.
@RPGamer
I will not buy Ben 10 games as i am not a fan of that franchise but Outright Game as the publisher of Ben 10 rebooted also publish other kids franchises such as Paw Patrol that the upcoming release on November 2020 caught my little attention.
Lately, i found there were some publisher have provided some casual games that really looks like Wii / NDS era.
I was happy to see some casual games like Petz, Imagine series, etc were returned on Switch despite they have completely different titles, different publisher but similar gameplay. Also, PS4 & Xbox One got those multi console casual games too recently including Untitled Goose Game on PS4. 🤭
@Alpha-2002
I know my gaming taste.
Games are very subjective, just like art installation.
Just because i have interest with games that you think a mediocre it doesn't mean i have very bad taste in gaming.
I found i didn't enjoy Zelda BOTW with $60 price tag. I stopped playing after several minutes due to being clueless and got killed easily. Most peoples called it a masterpice with almost 100 score, but for me it was around 40 - 59 due to frustrating gameplay.
But i found the games that you called shovelwares and they are actually my raw diamond.
They have some potential and looks more appealing than BOTW.
@Anti-Matter I don't think I had salty opinions OR was being rude. What I think I was doing was sharing my opinion, just like you. And as much as you call me salty, I think that's you, actually. Have a good day.
