The free-to-play bubblegum shooter Ninjala was released in June and it's already managed to rack up 4 million downloads worldwide. To commemorate the occasion, GungHo Online is gifting players 100 free Jala (that's the in-game currency).
To celebrate this milestone, the official Twitter account for the game has also shared some new artwork:
Most recently, GungHo rolled out the version 2.0 update. It enhanced matchmaking - allowing users to play with anyone from anywhere. Prior to this, matches were based on regions. This update also included improvements to the user interface and further polished the overall experience - resolving a number of bugs.

Haven't tried version 2.0 yet, yeah I'm still playing the game. Even won three online games, and have fun in friend matches with my friend. We both enjoy it, I'm happy to see it made it passed 4 million downloads.
Too much energy for me, makes me want to go to bed lol
Hopefully more people try the game out. The fact that at least 4 million people have is really cool.
I think the game is ok I will come back to it soon when this fix some things.
We are honored so many people clicked an estore link, how about those average users per day numbers to actually put things in perspective.
Playing less now as I hit enough Jala to pay for next seasons pass with all my winnings.
Also with Volta-x out Iβm gonna be playing tons of that. GREAT game and love the style.
But Ninjala is good and Iβve gotten good enough that I wonβt lose the skills if I take a break.
Hoping for more costumes and hair designs.
It feels weird to not be one of the four million people who have downloaded it.
@doctorhino tbf i think any game would look bad in that regard lol
I actually liked Rocket Arena from EA better than this.
I deleted it after 20 minutes
I would like to try it but itβs still not available in the Netherlands weirdly...
4 MILLION! My question is, how many downloads would it be if it cost something...
@ferryb001 probably because the Netherlands doesn't allow games with microtransactions. Good for them, but it does mean that you guys miss out on a lot of games.
@MeowMeowKins the Netherlands does allow microtransactions but not for gambling/lootcrates. Fortnite is available since whenever. But since I hate lootcrates anyway Iβll just have to live with not having Ninjala, youβre probably right
@ferryb001 ah, okay. Not too well versed in their laws. Yeah, loot boxes are annoying, good on the Netherlands for banning them!
@Ventilator
That's something you don't hear everyday, liking a modern EA better than other games. (I think it's cool that you like it, though).
Yay, Ninjala finally got to 4 Million downloads.
I was beginning to worry that it would stay at 3 Million for a while.
Hopefully, it'll be at 5 million downloads soon, I expected Ninjala to already be at 5 million already. (Maybe it will reach 5 million at the launch of Season 2).
