Alongside the latest firmware update for the Switch, Nintendo and Next Level Games have released the part two multiplayer DLC pack for Luigi's Mansion 3. This second pack includes new costumes, new floor themes, new ghosts, and new mini-games in both the ScareScraper and ScreamPark Modes.
Here are the details from Nintendo's PR:
The three new multiplayer mini-games for ScreamPark mode include PuckStravanganza, an ice-cold blast of hockey-styled havoc; Floaty Frenzy, an obstacle course that will test your wizardry on the water; and Desperate Measures, where you'll need to skillfully command all the sand on-hand to tip the scales in your favor.
ScareScraper mode has three new costumes included in Multiplayer Pack - Part 2, so make sure you dress to impress. The Amazing Luigi looks like he's got a few magic tricks up his sleeves; Cap'n Weegee brings his own pirate panache; and who better to dig for ancient treasure than the fabled researcher, Paleontoluigist?
Whichever costumes you choose to wear, make sure you're prepared to face down new themed ghosts along with three new additional floor themes that randomly appear as you explore ScareScraper mode. New Goob and Brick ghosts are just some of the malicious maze dwellers waiting to throw a wrench in the works. Keep your wits about you, Luigi!
The Luigi's Mansion 3 multiplayer pack DLC (including part 1 and 2) can be purchased for $9.99 USD or the regional equivalent. If you purchase the DLC, you'll also receive an in-game Polterpup light known as the Flashlight Type-P. You can use this light in the ScareScraper mode, or the main story. An additional Art Viewer mode will also let you browse the game's concept art.

Sorta wish we had a few more options for the scear scraper. And modes like the polter pup mode and Endless mode. I'd also like it if we randomly got bosses from story mode come in as a 5th floor boss.
I really need to buy this game
With this pack announced to be coming before the end of July, it releasing now was surprising.
I was just thinking of this earlier today and wasn’t expecting this until June at least. So awesome will play it tonight!
Waiting so long to release such small updates seems like such an odd decision. I moved on from this game months ago, and a couple minigames aren’t enough to drag me back in. Had they launched this a month or two after the game released or made this DLC much more substantial, I’d have been tempted.
As much as I enjoyed this game, I just can’t get riled about the DLC. My brain just doesn’t associate Luigi’s Mansion with multiplayer 🤷♂️
I wish you could play scream park by wireless local play.
Still waiting for a hard mode / New Game + there is almost no reason for me to go back to the story mode 1 and 2 were far more repayable and enjoyable for me.
Can't even play the Scream Park games wireless or online, it's really quite disappointing.
Is there any plan or reason to mini review the dlc?
It still bugs me that instead of having other Mario characters, it's just a bunch of Luigi...s. I really don't see any reason why Mario, Toad, Peach, Rosalina, Toadette, Daisy, Wario and Waluigi couldn't all have been multi-player options.
@WoomyNNYes We're unlikely to revisit the game here on NL.
If it was expansion DLC for the main story mode or something like that, we probably would.
”Paleontoluigist” - that made me laugh so hard! 😂
Nice, but give us some more single-player suger baby.
This is nice and all but, seeing these updates, it always makes me think on why Mario Party never received a single update.
I'd love to see more classic boards included for instance. I'm shocked that Nintendo completely ignored that title.
@tourjeff I agree...Super Mario Party is good...but more boards or DLC would really make it brilliant!
I've found a lot of people never delve into the other fun modes though such as the sound/music stages (hilarious) or the river one which is also great fun. Me and my family have had a hoot with it
@Toads-Friend I played those modes and, indeed, they are fun but I reckon that the board mode is the main point of Mario Party.
It should have received more attention by dlcs in my opinion.
I'm still on the fence on getting this. I haven't even touched the multiplayer modes to begin with though. Maybe I should check that out first before I splurge on this. Probably a good idea.
To be honest..I haven't even got past the first level yet...but I have ought the DLC anyway for when I want it (as I know I will!)
Really wish they focused on that proposed Single Player DLC; couldn’t care less about the online multiplayer component to this game.
@roy130390 yes, yes you do. It is fantastic in every way and an absolute joy from beginning to end. Hoping we get a fourth chapter...
(Please tell me what your icon is from?)
Love this game.
@tourjeff MK8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey and Super Mario Party are the big 3 that I'm surprised got little to no support post launch.
now for some updates for signal player mode. like updates for having options changing Luigi's costume every time he clears a floor.
If it was free people would care.
So the scarescream levels are based on what Luigi wears?
@NoNoseNosferatu Thanks for the recommendation mate, I'll definitely pick it up as soon as I can. I loved the previous ones and they were awesome experiences. Also, my gif is from a youtube video called "Happy Souls", It's pretty much a fun video showing the co-op experience of Dark Souls 2
@roy130390 I had a suspicion it was a dark souls reference of sorts. Thanks for letting me know; it made me giggle quite a bit. Hope you enjoy Mansion Haunting of Luigis 3D. It’s a lovely romp and makes me want yet a new chapter all the more. Cheers!
@NoNoseNosferatu Thanks mate, cheers!
i still find LM having these local multiplayer minigames bizarre. im not sure how many people are willing to open LM for them, they seem kinda slow and hard to play if youre not familiar with the game controls
@pek727 Hell, I've owned it since launch and have yet to play it because well, I physically can't. No inverted y axis means millions can't play, and I've seen numerous people all over social media who would buy it if it had this feature. Honestly it's appalling it doesn't, as it's been an industry standard for well over a decade, and in 2019 nobody was even thinking that it would have been excluded.
How the proper way to play was left out is baffling, the radio silence from all forums to contact the devs, Nintendo, even the media is even more baffling, and how journalists like those here have left millions of us high and dry is beyond insulting. Nobody seems to care that they released an anti-consumer game and have yet to fix it but had the audacity to release two multiplayer packs, especially when their first two games had the feature. Also shame on gamers who don't stand for all of us.
