Zombie Army Trilogy is just a single day away from releasing on Nintendo Switch, so the folks over at Rebellion have put together a shiny new launch trailer.
The game, which is a Sniper Elite series spin-off, initially launched on other platforms a few years ago. Our sister site Push Square said that it was an "enjoyable co-operative shooter that's a lot of fun when played with others", but also noted that it starts feeling pretty samey after a while.
If you're interested in grabbing it for Switch, feel free to catch up on what we know so far:
Travel to 1945 and slay on-the-go as you face off against the massive hordes that comprise Hitler’s Nazi zombie army. Use sniper rifles, machine guns and shotguns to rip through the waves of undead, and take on the demon dictator himself in an incredible final battle!
Zombie Army Trilogy comes with everything previously released on consoles. Survive 3 intense story campaigns and take on Horde Mode, all available either in singleplayer or in drop-in, drop-out co-op for up to 4 players.
On Nintendo Switch, Zombie Army Trilogy offers brand new features including local wireless co-op, motion controls, Pro Controller and HD Rumble support. Zombie Army Trilogy also supports Nintendo Switch’s new friend invite system.
The Zombie Army series has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide.
We'll have our very own review of the game for you as soon as we can, so make sure to stay tuned for that.
Earlier this month, Rebellion also shared a video which offered up seven reasons it thinks you should buy the game tomorrow. Will you be doing just that? Tell us below.

I've had my eye on this one! Just waiting patiently for the reviews to come in.
So far all the Rebellion games have looked and played great on Switch. I think I might grab it.
Cool looks decent
Oh boy, the two things I'm most sick of; Nazi's and zombies. Mixed together in one game... AGAIN.
Hey Nintendolife, not a huge mess up, but wondering if in the future you can choose different art to show for this game. Having a Swastika show up next to Mario is just a little weird tbh. I understand that it’s part of the game, but not sure all readers are going to know the history behind this outside of being something that shows up in video games. Cheers otherwise and keep up the good work.
@Pojos98
You have got to be joking? You can't be that annoying can you?
@raven89 I definitely am that annoying.
This game was amazing on PS4, and watching the devs play it on Twitch last week, it looks identical. So glad my copy is in the post for tomorrow.
@Pojos98 No sympathy from me. Learn from history, or be doomed to repeat it.
@EVIL-C I’m not sure anyone is actually asking for sympathy here, just common sense and decency, especially on a site with a younger readership. Nothing wrong with showing or talking about Nazis, just ought to be contextualized properly.
@EVIL-C I think when it comes to WWII, we've actually committed the opposite mistake of forgetting. Nazi's have been turned into such cartoonish super villains, and so unimaginably evil, that when people in the modern world actually act like Nazi's, no one recognizes it because it doesn't look like the caricature we've created. Let's just say, hypothetically of course, that there was a country right now trying to reclaim all lands ever owned or claimed by that country. And at the same time was flooding the provinces inhabited by other ethnic groups with transplants from the majority ethnic group to racially and culturally homogenize the nation, and if people don't cooperate they end up in concentration camps and maybe have their organs harvested. If such a nation actually existed, would we recognize it as being Nazi-esque?
@TheFox
Does it really matter that much? Does it matter if a country like that or it's residents or leaders would be marked nazis? It's a sick concept and it would be recognized as such, probably wouldn't be called sunshine and rainbows...
I think there's too many folks from resetera on this site.
Been playing this since Friday and it’s a great port. Looks good and runs great plenty of content too. A nice challenge on your own also. Handheld mode is also good gyro and hd rumble are nicely done also.
This is definitely ripping off CoD Zombies, but honestly I am interested.
@raven89 There’s not too many of anyone on this site. Anyone who wants to post here can. I’ve never even visited resetera.
@Pojos98
Oh ok, then you should, it think it's hand-tailored for you!
Funny thing is, the hypothetical nation I described wasn't hypothetical... It's China.
@raven89 is it a bunch of SJWs? Seriously dude, just cause someone expresses a preference to have some imagery moderated doesn’t mean the need to be blocked off in some liberal part of the Internet. I can’t even put a curse word on this site without it being edited, I don’t see any harm in pointing out a pic that probably should be removed. This is basically a kids site.
@Pojos98
Even if a lot of kids read this site what does a svastika symbol change? Nothing.
As far is that symbol goes, here's my take on it. If little kids are on this site and see it, it's a teachable moment. If parents catch them drawing that symbol all over their note book, it's time for a history lesson and to teach the kid why what it represents is bad.
@raven89 I mean if you want to be exposing your kids to hate symbols without any context or explanation, be my guest. Any 11 year old kid who sees something holding a gun or a chainsaw is just gonna think ‘cool’, without knowing what the symbol means. I know I did when I was that age. No one is trying to ruin your fun or censor anything here. Ive been playing the new Wolfenstein pretty regularly. I kindly asked it to be taken down or given greater consideration for future posts. That’s it. Also, there are actual people still alive who were impacted by the actions of the Nazi party, I know some myself. They may not be totally cool with seeing the group that ruined their life passed off as a cartoon so publicly. This kind of content should either be properly contextualized or locked behind an age restriction, not showing up next to a frickin article about Super Mario. It’s just decency. Is that really so hard to understand? If you were offended by some painful or complicated content, I sincerely wish other people would take it seriously and think twice before showing it.
