UK chart data is now in for the week ending 15th February, revealing that it hasn't been the best of weeks for Nintendo software.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Luigi's Mansion 3 are the only Nintendo exclusives to make it into the top ten this week, as Ring Fit Adventure sees a mighty fall from fourth to 30th place. The fitness RPG's drop in sales is likely due to ongoing stock issues in the region.
Taking top spot once again is FIFA 20, closely followed by the similarly consistent Call of Duty.
Here's a look at this week's top ten all formats chart:
Last Week | This Week | |
---|---|---|
1 | 1 | FIFA 20 |
2 | 2 | Call of Duty: Modern Warfare |
New Entry | 3 | Yakuza Remastered Collection |
6 | 4 | Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order |
3 | 5 | Grand Theft Auto V |
5 | 6 | Mario Kart 8 Deluxe |
7 | 7 | Minecraft |
New Entry | 8 | Dreams |
9 | 9 | Luigi's Mansion 3 |
10 | 10 | NBA 2K20 |

Dreams did pretty well all things considered.
@Octane
I’d forgotten that was coming out, I’ve really lost touch with the PS4 scene. Very interesting game and now I look further I see people already doing some amazing stuff with it.
FIFA and CoD owning the top two, how boring and predictable. I'm glad gaming isn't all kicking a football and shooting at things or I'd give up! Maybe they should combine the two, Pokken Tournament style, and have the ability to snipe off the other team's star striker to prevent him scoring goals, and be able to throw frag grenades at loot boxes so no-one can get suckered in to the usual micro-transaction shenanigans... I'd play that.
I just re-acquired a PS4 yesterday (my third one, a slim this time, as I tend to sell them after a year or so due to boredom and annoyance with the crappy UI it comes with, settings all over the place in illogical places ugh) to play Spiderman, God of War IV (aka Kratos Rebooted: Norse Not Greek), Detroit: Become Human (again), Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and in anticipation of Cyberpunk 2077, assuming CDPR don't screw us like Saber Interactive did with The sWitcher 3 update and pull it from current gen at the last minute.
As stated on PushSquare, really happy that Yakuza has done well. Would be nice for it to come to Switch at some point, but if you can play it already, I would recommend heavily that you do so.
Regarding the rest of the charts, does not seem to be anything to unusual. I still approve of the fact that Nintendo games have staying power compared to days past.
Ringfit Adventure would probably he higher if it wasn't sold out all the time.
Not much is happening on the Switch front so between game droughts, info droughts and stock droughts the results aren't surprising.
Nintendo has very much relied on people having large backlogs from the 2nd half of 2019.
People already want to stop working out? Shame...
It's unfortunate that Dreams had to release of PS4, now that the console is on it's way out. Hopefully it gets ported to PS5 because it's a genius game idea, in my opinion.
Lots of games that have been out for months/years in this top ten. Says most about the amount of games being released this year so far
This may be a poor week by Switch's high standards but to see two Nintendo exclusives released quite some time ago still in the top ten is impressive. I noticed Ring Fit Adventure got gobbled up within hours of its stock replenishment on Amazon UK.
GTA it still selling? are people triple buying them or something?
I guess that as always, ring fit temporary falls duo to shortages
I'd be content with a 720p 60fps version of Modern Warfare. Then again I'd be happy with a cod mobile port.
Ring Fit Adventure's supply fluctuation is absolutely insane. It went from from not charting in the Top 40, to charting at #7, to charting at #4, to charting at #30, etc.
COD and fifa at the top is no surprise in the uk market. Really glad to see Yakuza get it’s day in the sun no matter how short lived it may be. GTAV feels like it will never leave the top 10, rock star must be making some serious bank out of that puppy.
Tbh I’m happy that just the evergreen Nintendo titles are in the uk top 10 as this would never happen pre switch days.
Was hoping Dreams would do better, that is by far the most interesting PS exclusive in a while. Then again, that type of game doesn't seem to appeal to most PS gamers.
Oh man. FIFA, CoD and Grand Theft Auto clogging the top spots of UK charts since 2010.
Christ, it’d be funny if it wasn’t so bloody embarrassing, depressing.
I’m marooned on an island of idiots. Kill me.
