The end of yet another busy week is upon us, and after all the Pokémon Sword and Shield leak drama, news of more NES and SNES games, and review bomb shenanigans, it's time to wind down and enjoy some games over the weekend.
Members of Team Nintendo Life have shared our plans down below, and we'd love for you to get involved via our poll and comment sections. Enjoy!

I picked up Runbow and Super Chariot in a sale recently as well as OTTTD, so assuming I can put aside a little time I’d like to dip into those. What I’d really like to do is get stuck into one of the awesome strategy games sitting on my micro SD. I’m only a couple of hours into Mario + Rabbids, Into The Breach and Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and the release of the latest round of DLC for the latter is reminding me that I’ve only scratched the surface. Too many great games.
Some people are complaining about no Nintendo Direct announcement yet – it’s A-OK with me. I’ve got enough to keep me busy into 2023.
Ollie Reynolds, reviewer
I'm still making my way through Final Fantasy VII at the moment. It's taking a lot longer than I thought it would, and I've only just got out of Midgar. The enhancements for the Switch version have proven to be extremely useful though, and I'm loving my time with the game!
I'm also still spending a few hours here and there with the wonderful Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It's completely sucked me back in, but I'm trying not to go too hard on it for fear of burning out by the time New Horizons launches!

This weekend, I’ve got one of my younger brothers coming to visit - so you know we’re gonna spend the entire time gaming in the ol’ home theater. I’m sure we’ll go through all of the Switch classics (can they be called that yet?) - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, etcetera.
It’s also a ton of fun to play the old NES and SNES games on a big screen, so you know we’ll have some Super Mario Kart and Super Mario World going. I’ve also got my GameCube hooked up, and have been enjoying those old Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon games, which we both played a ton of together as kids. Lastly, we’ll be watching Detective Pikachu in 3D, since I recently discovered that my PS3 plays 3D movies... and my home theater projector is actually 3D as well? Should be a solid time.

Over the past week or two, we've really gotten back into Overcooked 2 in our house. The first time we played it was just before most of the seasonal DLC started flooding into the game, so we've gone back in for another full co-op playthrough with the promise of the new levels waiting for us.
It's just such a good game - even if it does make me ridiculously angry at times - and it's making me all the more excited for Moving Out, a similar-looking title also on the way from Team17. I'll probably end up grabbing that one, too.
PJ O’Reilly, reviewer
This weekend I’ll be getting stuck into transferring my Nintendo eShop accounts to my brand new (yellow) Switch Lite and educating myself in how to get old saves moved over so my kids can continue their various adventures on their very own machine, no more sharing my beautiful launch day original with my sticky-fingered offspring.
In between the handful of things I’m currently working through for review, I’ll also be making some time for Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair which I grabbed in a sale last week and am really enjoying, it’s definitely a strong shout for Donkey Kong fans and platformer fiends in general. Have a good weekend pals!

Not one but two dungeon crawlers came out this week so I will be spending my weekend between Darksiders Genesis and Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl. But make no mistake, both DAEMON X MACHINA and SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays continue to be the hot cartridges to swap. Oh, what have we here? Speedway Racing is out? Well then, don’t mind if I do.
My game of the week is an old summer 2019 fling called Fire Emblem: Three Houses… or should that be “Four Houses” now? Those are some very, very large rats they got running around Garreg Mach’s dungeons...
Zion Grassl, video producer
This weekend I’ll be out of town for a bit visiting family, so I’m not sure how much game time I’ll get in. For the past few weeks, my brother and I have been attempting to clean out my family’s basement, which is full of relics from our childhood. We found a stack of empty GBA boxes, a small lot of GameCube games (including Billy Hatcher) and even found my original GameCube, but sadly the disc drive is defective. *Cue tiny violins*.
Surprisingly, I’m still slowly working my way through Earthbound, but I feel like the end is in sight! Maybe I’ll hunker down Saturday night and finish off Giygas for good. Then I can dive back into things like Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore and Snack World on Switch. I’m also planning to catch the blue blur Sonic on the silver screen and I’ve got high hopes! So let’s hope Eggman doesn’t crush them.
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure to leave a vote in the poll above and a comment below with your gaming choices over the next few days...

Just finished up Luigi's Mansion 3, what an incredible game! Next up for me is either Pokemon Sword or Yooka Laylee and the Impossible Lair!
I was originally planning to start Snack World over the weekend but my copy got delayed till Monday so I've started Atelier Ayesha instead which is great fun.
This week I will be mostly playing
Yooka Laylee (the first one)
Pokémon Platinum
Been feeling like playing a lot of Fire Emblem recently, mostly focusing on going through the few titles I haven't yet played. Finished FE Gaiden about a week ago and now I'm playing through Fire Emblem 1, Gaiden was kind of bad but OG FE1 is still perfectly playable even today I think if you can get over the general clunkiness of it, but I may be slightly biased since Shadow Dragon, the DS remake of FE1, is by far my favorite entry in the series.
Contemplating on whether to get darksiders on switch or ps
Picked up Ultrawings Flat and enjoying it for what it is. ***AVOID SPEEDWAY RACING*** SwitchedOn (Youtube), revealed the appalling POS that it is.
Link’s Awakening for me. What a thoroughly charming game. My first time through, so well worth the full price IMO. Love poking into every corner for secrets.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Steins Gate Elite. Been wanting to play the latter for a while now so I'm glad to have the chance.
River City Girls + Life is Strange 2 for me
Got Snack World and Dreams but can't get home this weekend to play them so will have to wait until next week!
Fire Emblem of course, you think I'm crazy?
Pokemon shield and links awakening
More Persona 4 Golden. Just started a NG+ in Fire Emblem Three Houses. Also Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for those spirits.
Eh...
I played Animal Crossing Amiibo Festival (Wii U) for this weekend. 😀
I have some Animal Crossing Amiibo so i can use them to play until 4 Players. Whoever win doesn't matter for me since my objection is unlocking the other places or Mini games. The gameplay was quite okay for me, not as bad as the review. I give 6.5 / 10 for this game. 😗
Oh....
I also have bought and played Modnation Racers (PS3) just now. 😉
I have designed my own racer and the kart to participate in Career Mode.
I've finally started Ni No Kuni.
As s big Ghibli fan I've always wanted to play it, but for some reason I've been intimidated by the more active battle system, and it's length. It's like a mountain to climb.
I'm 15 hours in and I died a lot a first, but doing the side quests is helping. Not sure if I'll reach the summit but I'll give it my best.
It'll be good preparation for Xenoblade Chronicles Switch remaster when that lands too (also long and more active battle system).
Slay the spire
Grid
Daemon x machina
Sengoku 3, I've been looking for more beat em ups whilst waiting for Streets of Rage 4 and stumbled across this gem for the Neo Geo, great fun with huge sprites and superb animation. I'll also be polishing off the last few doors of the sublime Luigi's Mansion 3 as well
I'm trying to explore the hell out of the world of Final Fantasy IX on my 3rd playthrough. This is undoubtedly in my top 5 list of all time.
Dead Cells! The Bad Seed DLC is out... and I somehow managed to get the fourth boss cell this morning! Time to go giant hunting. Have a great weekend, all!
@spirit_flame looking at the screenshots for speedway racing on the eshop compared to the game in motion you would think it was 2 different games I watched that review on YouTube and it shows it for what it is just a mess
Playing some bargain buys I picked up this week. Uno, American Gangster and a bit of FIFA 20 trying to get Leeds back to the Premiership.
Continuing to grind Asphalt, trying to wonder trade for new Pokemon (currently got and sharing Litten and Rowlett, and multiplayer Hyrule Warriors with my son.
Still playing Pokémon Shield despite this week being the Pokémon Home Apokélypse and potentially loosing all my Pokémon to Error: 992.
DARKSIDERS GENESIS
Darksiders Genesis and I'm enjoying all the jokes from strife a very funny horseman.
It's my long weekend off work so I have more time than usual to get into my gaming time.
Atelia Ryza on the Ps4 has been taking a huge chunk of my time up.love the game but still not decided if I prefer the new battle system over the old one.Love all the characters though.
I'm also heavily into My Time At Portia..such an addictive and time consuming game.
On the Switch im 13 hours into my second farm on Stardew Valley.My farm is a mess,everyone hates me and only have 500g to my name...at least I'm a good fisherman.
Playing more New Super Lucky's Tale this week. I'm really digging this buttery smooth platformer. It may be pretty easy for the most part, but I've really needed something relaxing to chill with. I'm aiming for 100% completion, which is something I rarely do in games. In on World 5, so I dont have much left to go.
NSLT will probably eat up what little gaming time I have for this weekend, but I'm also looking forward to diving into Kunai next, followed by Link's Awakening, all while making my way through Fire Emblem Three Houses, little by little.
I will be continuing DQXI, which I've completely fallen in love with. 30 hours in, and I've just finished the chapter involving interspecies romance. The game just keeps on getting better.
I'll also find some time to get my Ring Fit Adventure workouts in. I'm in World 9 now, loving my workouts and feeling good.
Flowerz (Windows Phone) - Nearing the halfway point.
Briquid Mini (Windows Phone) - I've been stuck on the same puzzle for a few days now.
Panzer Geekz (Windows Phone) - On my last mission now.
Daemon X Machina(Switch). Truly underrated game especially for mecha fans. Also some random arcade matches in Overwatch(pc).
Impossible Lair on Switch. So much better than the first game and great looking. Darksiders Genesis on PS4. Unsure so far, seems a bit too simple.
Bought assassins creed black flag on sale, and its quite enjoyable. Stopped playing it on ps4 after maybe 5 hours. Some of the missions are atrocious. But with so many other games I stopped playing on other consoles, having it on the go has bumped up my completion rate significantly.
Onimushawarlordssnackworld:thedungeoncrawlgolddeadlypremonitionoriginsbubblebobble4friendstokyomiragesessions#feencorefinalfantasyworldmaxima.............. Too many gaaameeeessssss!
Metroid Prime, baby.
This weekend I will be playing Tales of Vesperia, Ever Oasis and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
@GregamanX I just finished NSLT last week and really liked it. I agree with what you said. I like "buttery smooth platformer", that is a good description. Enjoy the rest of the game!
Hollow Knight for me. Also fancy splurging on the eshop sale but not sure on what.
@BAN have the Trilogy on WiiU. Promise myself every year that I must play it.
Picked up Yuri on sale, simple artistic platformer that has me smiling. Good mechanics, great visuals and quirky music.
Grid continues to amaze me. Great racing game. And always playing a few matches of Rocket League.
Happy gaming, everyone!
@Wazeddie22
Which version do you play My Time at Portia ?
PS4 or Switch version ?
Does the latest update fix the bugs, glitches and fastening loading time ?
Just got Super Mario Odyssey off the wife for valentine's Day so I'm slowly playing through that when I have the chance.
@Anti-Matter I'm playing it on the Ps4 because I heard how bad the Switch version is supposed to be.I'm about 10 hours into it and to be honest I haven't had any trouble as far as glitches and bugs go.Although the loading is a bit slow but nothing too bad..just hope I haven't jinxed it
Been craving a good twin stick shooter lately, something along the lines of Dead Nation.
Started playing Tesla vs Lovecraft last night. It's scratching the itch so far
Mystery dungeon demo. Love it. I’ve pre ordered now. And ac origins also a fantastic game. Would love it on switch but I don’t think it’s got the power considering how demanding it is
Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Pokemon Black for me!
@Wazeddie22
Thanks for the information. 😀
I think i will consider the PS4 version.
I finished the Fire Emblem Three Houses DLC on Thursday and got the Cuphead Smash spirits on Friday so all attention for me is on XB1 this weekend. Will return back to Three Houses for a 2nd path of the main game (either Black Eagles or Blue Lions as my 1st path was Golden Deer) on Wednesday as I'd imagine if a Direct is announced next week, it's just an Animal Crossing Direct.
I’ve had a tough week so I’ll be chilling with Stardew Valley and wrapped in a warm blanket.
May also boot up Freedom Planet, craving 2D Sonic but played Mania to death.
Also playing the highly addictive and entertaining Super Street Racer. By no means perfect but a brilliant blast!
Splatoon 2 and The Division 2.
@mr_grimm is black flag good? I’ve got my eye on that one.
Wow I’m impressed most people playing fire emblem. Is good that series is doing well in the west...
I’m finishing up Link’s Awakening and might replay Steamworld Heist after grabbing it on sale. Loved my play through on 3DS and don’t often revisit games I’ve completed so could give up on it quite soon!
I'm playing through Xenoblade Chronicles X again right now, fantastic game. Would be great if it eventually got a Switch port.
Mario Kart 7 on my new 2DS.
And err Mario Kart 7, it's the only game i have for the system right now.
I'll be playing mostly The Witcher 3, I can't get enough of it. What a game! If I do play anything else, it'll be Rocket League.
I would recomend it, even if some of the missions dont hold up super well. But the naval combat is great and its a good pirategame.
I'm actually very proud of myself having finished 3 games on the backlog this week(SP:FbW, Bastion and Unravel 2). Thankfully I only have 2 games left in my backlog unless you count DMC3 which is prepurchased (so maybe 3 games)
This weekend is dedicated to Shakedown Hawaii and Sega Ages Sonic 1 on switch..Metroid Other M and SMA:SMB3 in honor of SMB3 being 30 yrs old.
If i have time, I might turn on Madworld which i got from my wife for V-Day😊
Been a while, so hello!
Might grind some comp in ow and try hit GM for the first time. Apart from that I plan on playing some more fe3h and finishing that soon hopefully.
I wish I could play AC:NH this weekend... It's painful to see the icon on my home screen 😅😂
Working on completing my Pokédex in Sword and just started GoW on PS4.
Runbow is a nice little game with a great OST.
I just beat Persona 4 Golden, and am waiting for P5R to release, but in the meantime, I think I'll go back to Breath of the Wild.
FF IV — for the first time! Playing on SNES. I'm nearing the end. This might be my new favorite Final Fantasy.
@crudfish FFIV is great. Played it on PSP years ago and it's still one of my favourite JRPGs. I had the complete collection so got to play Interlude and the After Years too.
Dragon Quest XI still going strong 60+ hours. Love it
I am picking up Darksiders: Genesis today! It’s the first game I have bought since Shovel Knight back in December.
So while it’s been fun clearing out my backlog (I did it guys!) I am looking forward to a new experience!
@JasmineDragon did you tell the truth with regards to the romance?
I bought Forgotton Anne in the sale and loved the first hour. Can't wait to play more.
Just started my second playthrough of FE Three Houses and i'll probably finish Suikoden 2 on ps1
@crudfish
I'm stil stuck in the tower of Babel
Playing Mystic Quest on the Mana Collection. Wasn't the reason i bought Mana Collection but enjoying it, holds up surprisingly well and i don't remember much from my playthrough in the 90s.
@NintendoByNature
Gee just 3 in your backlog ?
Wish I had a backlog of 3 instead of 900.
Saw the Sonic movie yesterday, so in a Sonic mood and planning to play Sonic Advance 3 and Sonic Battle. Hoping to squeeze in a few events from Mario and Sonic at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and daily tasks in Asphalt 9.
Replaying SNES app and similar games on Switch. (Street Fighter, Contra, Castlevania, and Megaman X collections). Trying to have a simple, fun weekend.
Diablo 3, Overwatch and Mario kart!
@KitsuneNight well, it was closer to 10 not so long ago. So I'm pretty excited lol
@Steelhead
What's your opinion of it so far? I like it but I prefer 3D world.
My weekend is unfortunately a pretty busy one, but I'll shoehorn in a bit of gaming. I'm still chipping away at Dragon Quest VIII and hope to properly try out the Monster Arena (and hopefully recruit Morrie) before moving on with the plot. I may work in a cup or two in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I've also started playing through Ori and the Blind Forest on Switch; it's a visually stunning Metroidvania that I'm quite enjoying so far!
I'll also be fitting in a little Pokemon Go while I'm out and about. The Valentine's event is in full swing!
Have a blessed weekend! Happy gaming!
Snack World on Nintendo Switch and Etrian Odyssey Nexus on 3DS. It's a very dungeon-crawlery weekend for me.
@NintendoByNature
I got way too many games.
I'm hoping I can clear at least half of them out.
@Obitokamui64 just reached the sixth kingdom and I think it's very good so far, but not mind-blowing by any means. I think 3D world had tighter game design and was more challenging, but Odyssey has better level design.
I know it's highly regarded, but I wouldn't say it's the best platformer on Switch. Rayman Legends and Shovel Knight are better IMO. I prefer 2D platformers though, so I may be biased.
Also the lack of proper co-op is a real shame.
I spent about an hour or so, this morning, playing the Atari Flashback (it was a gift, I didn't buy it), or rather just the two games I even play on it (Space Invaders and Asteroids). Outside of that, I'll probably also get back into season mode in NHL 16 on my PS4, at the moment I'm currently playing as the Vancouver Canucks.
The best part about this weekend though is it's a long weekend in Canada, so I get a whole extra day of gaming before I need to go back to work.
@KitsuneNight it kind of gives me anxiety when I have too many games floating around in my backlog. I've been playing the shortest games first, and working my way up to the longest games. It gives me a sense of accomplishment
I picked up Lego marvel super heroes 2 on sale during the week so have been playing and enjoying that. Needed a little mindless after playing dragon quest ix and bravely default....and before starting dq xi.
Goblin Sword, Tokyo Mirage Sessions, AI Somnium Files
Checking out the new DLC for Fire Emblem 3 Houses and maybe throw in some Smash.
@dugan I just beat the game and saw the end credits. It was a super fun experience, and the final boss had me on my toes more than I expected (I beat him on my first try, but it felt pretty hectic). I've 100 percented the first five worlds, so I plan on doing the same with the extra sixth world. All in all, it's probably my favourite game that I've played this year so far. Most people would probably disagree with me, but I even enjoyed this game more than Mario Odyssey.
Metro Redux for the Switch all weekend! I am hooked!
I’ll be playing Control for Xbox and I haven’t decided what Switch game I’ll be playing. I’ve decided to put Pokémon Shield to rest for awhile, after 3 gym badges and about 18 hours I’m just having a really hard time wanting to play it. I just picked up Sparklite, Phoenix Wright trilogy, and Glass Masquerade On sale this week so I may pick one of those to dip into. My backlogs are getting out of control so I’m going to have do some serious work and hold off on more purchases 😅. While I’m excited about a possible direct coming, I simply have so much to play as is on Switch and Xbox!
So far I have played some Game Boy Color Mario Golf courtesy of the lovely 3DS Virtual Console. I am hoping to make a significant dent in the original Final Fantasy on Wii Virtual Console, as well as get back to Kirby's Dream Land 3 (been really pleasantly surprised) and Neutopia (just beat A Link between Worlds, so time for the next retro hacker-and-slasher) via the same service. If time permits, I have a few titles I'm either struggling mightily with (Vs. Excitebike, Castlevania, the [bleep]ing devil truck in Clustertruck), slowly-but-surely churning through (World of Goo, Worms W.M.D.), or delighting in bonus content / a second playthrough for (the truly excellent Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and Night in the Woods) on Switch.
It's not in the list, but I spent last night and this morning playing NBA Playgrounds 2.
I bought that game over a year ago, but I recently finally unlocked all the players so I'm finding LOADS of new fun.
By the way, if you don't have it it's in sale right now for only $7.50
https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/nba-2k-playgrounds-2-switch/
@Pirlo_ze_sniper I understand the desire to get games like Darksiders on PS, but for me the answer is always Switch (if that's an option) because being about to play on work trips and random errands SIGNIFICANTLY increases my gaming time
Playing minecraft and snack world this weekend 😊
Well it ain’t Animal Crossing, I can tell you that much. Come ooooon, March 20th!
I've been up to my collar in Fire Emblem for the last week - TMS, Warriors, the ultimately sideloaded Heroes (too bad I apparently missed its TMS collab event by a couple days, but if they reprise these collabs like FFRK does, hope springs eternal)... and I've started Shadow Dragon at long last. A bit weird to have side stories I need to lose characters to access, then decide against these side stories in favour of trying to keep everyone else alive and still being OBLIGED to sacrifice a character of choice to finish the prologue.😅 And I'm sure glad to have gacha'd out Norne in Heroes the other day, because I'm not meeting her in SD - looks like I had to finish the prologues with even fewer characters alive! A meritable mechanic in its own ways, but personally I dare hope to see less of it in the 3DS era onward.😆
I’m still playing Dragon Quest VIII for the 3DS. The game is absolutely incredible, and I’m constantly thinking about it while I’m at work. Lol.
Currently playing some Mario Maker 2 and Unravel 2, Also just picked up Goblin sword
Until I can download the Spyro Trilogy, I'm going to be hunting for Korok Seeds in BOTW. I've more than 300 right now.
@NintendoByNature
Yeahí'v been trying to do that too, and been living on how long to beat.
but i have so many games at times it's hard to keep track.
@T7Hokage017
So how was Sanic ?
@charlieonholiday I finished Black Flag this week and truly believe I will struggle to play a better game this year. It works great in handheld and makes going around collecting every treasure and getting all the ship upgrades a dream. The story is pretty meh but it made me genuinely interested in the real life pirates of the era (some who feature in the game too). Overall would 100% recommend feel I've gotten my money's worth from the collection and not even downloaded rogue yet
I have actually been really hooked on Everspace on my Switch lately. It's the type of situation where it isn't a game I would typically find myself playing often on a TV or PC, but it feels excellent on the Switch Lite. Something about playing this game on a handheld feels very satisfying and relaxing. I think it's the slow paced style, it really picks up and can get quite hectic when you encounter enemies but a lot of the time you are just flying around exploring.
There's just something about it's roguelike nature that keeps it fresh as well, some of these games can start to feel very repetitive after a while but this game manages to keep it interesting, and the way you improve yourself through spending money after you die makes the difficulty of later enemy encounters a fun challenge to overcome. It is even fun to work on improving yourself as you play, the game allows you to improve many aspects of your ship as you play and you can always swap in better weapons when you find them. Materials are gained as you go along progressing so that aspect never feels grindy.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf and Dead by Daylight -interesting pair.
@T7Hokage017
Fair enough.
I'd just like to hear what you think.
Three Houses, not buy yet the fourth house
@Crozzymodo thanks for that. At its current price point I think it’s worth getting. It would be my first assassin’s creed game too.
Continuing Tokyo mirage sessions (starting chapter 4 and I feel I am a bit underleveled for my taste so it is grind time!). Also started impossible lair and Arkham city
@Murbs That’s exactly how I’m playing it. You really should play it, if you haven’t the Prime games yet. They’re still really good after all these years.
Have a bad cold and the weather's awful so I'm playing Heroki on Switch and am finding it so addictive. It's so colourful too and such a joy to play on a stormy day.
I think there's a Smash event too so will collect a few more spirits.
i'm gonna play Animal Forest (Doubutsu no Mori) on the N64, Timesplitters Future Perfect, Goldeneye Source and Super Smash Bros for Wii U.
hopefully I’ll finish MarioRabbids DK Adventure and get more Grid Autosport game time in
@KitsuneNight yep me too. It's a shortcut on my homepage now. Thats how i judge what i buy and dont buy based on HLTBs info. I try not to play any games over 25 hours in length unless it's a very special exception.
Going to play Sea of Thieves with my brother-in-law and niece. I also want to play The Sims 4 and probably Pokémon Shield.
@T7Hokage017
Probably not.
But i'd like to hear what you think all the same.
If I'm gonna watch it it wil be on DVD, later down the line.
@NintendoByNature
I got way too many long term games
Including several FF games and 3 Yakuza's.
That's 500 hours there easily.
@Rexenokid
Just curious about Xenoblade 2.
1. When i can change my Blades with male Blades and not depending on Pyra ?
Because i felt disturbed by big boobs female characters and better i have all male Blades as my partner.
2. How do i defeat the monstrous enemies quickly ? Because i saw the Battle system on Xenoblade 2 looked complicated and one giant enemy can take very long time to be defeated.
3. I heard all characters can have swimsuit, how and when i can switch their outfits with swimsuit ?
Btw, i still neglected my Xenoblade 2 for more than 2 years. 😅
Im playing career mode in fifa 20
Darksiders Genesis.
Game is amazing and Strife is a very funny character, love the banter between him and War.
Finally finished Witcher 3 so this weekend is all about Snack World and a little AC:NL
Assassin's Creed Odyssey on PS4 and getting Meltan evolved by playing pokemon lets go for about 30m.
@WiltonRoots Of course, being the Luminary I am a paragon of honesty.
I got Goblin Sword and it is excellent. My wife told me to download a game for Valentine’s Day, so I’m thinking about finally trying out Dead Cells.
Spyro, and it's giving me motion sickness of sorts. The reviews forgot to mention this. 🤢
Stick it to The Man, FAST RMX, Wipeout VR, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (Wii version, of course).
@gaga64 Is that a Harry Enfield reference?
You must be as old as me. For reference—I have hair growing on my earlobes. That old.
@KitsuneNight yea for sure. Those are big time sinks.
Stardew Stardew Stardew
attempting to reach level 100 of Skull Cavern....
Finishing off Persona 5 and continuing through Persona Q2, mainly due to the rather glum weather all in all.
Just finished Edelgard’s route in FETH and also been continuing my King of Cards campaign. Think this is the best one in Shovel Knight TT!
I beat Sands of Destruction (DS) the other day, so now I am playing:
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn (DS)
Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS)
... and I picked up an old fav of mine the other day, that my daughter and I have been playing a lot of.... Diddy Kong Racing (DS)!!!
@HappyMaskedGuy
Sahttered Memories is a fantastic Silent Hill game.
its both a retelling of 1 from the point of view of Heather as a child. ( ie why Harry can't fight back.)
As well as a sequel to 3, because Heather deals with her trauma of that game.
And it gets way too much flak.
@NintendoByNature
They are Steam games though so I am considering breaking out trainers so I can get through them.
I just have too many games to do it "legit"
Bloodstained Curse of the Moon on Switch
@HappyMaskedGuy Nearly: The Fast Show’s Jesse:
https://youtu.be/IENDDX3r_0k
@KitsuneNight I personally think it’s the best Silent Hill game full-stop. Certainly the best in terms of execution.
It wouldn’t be half the game it is without the motion controls either.
Just finished the Cindered shadows FE3H dlc last night. Probably going to go back to Cat Quest 2 today.
Although I did pick up Tokyo mirage sessions on Friday I think I will finish FFXII before even considering that one.
Had a good few hours of Speedway Racing this morning- once you learn the physics it is brilliant and challenging!
Also played a bit of impossible lair and now Saints Row 3 which is ace - serves the itch for GTA on Switch for sure.
@jarvismp
I'm trying to get to grips with that game.
No luck so far.
Pokémon Shield and if I have time finish up Jedi: Fallen Order.
Splitting my time between FE 3 houses and the newly acquired Trials Rising Gold. Trials is a blast....really enjoying it.
@Steelhead
Got ya. My thoughts are similar. I think Odyssey is for the people who enjoy the collection aspect from Mario 64.
Shovel Knight is amazing. Blew me away
@GregamanX I am glad you liked the game. I also 100% the levels, but the bonus world is significantly harder (at least for me) While i understand your comparison to Odyssey, for me, simply the greater amount of content in Odyssey makes it better. Also, there is something so great about the platforming game feel of Mario. That said, i was very impressed with the level design, creativity and humor of Lucky's Tale. It is a very good game.
CTR, and Ni No Kuni. About 35 hours into Ni No Kuni. I just got CTR for 23 bux physical. Been playing a few hours or so.
Took advantage of that shexy 50% off sale for Team Sonic Racing. Had the game before, physical copy, but had to sell it. Really liked it but didn't think it was worth a 55 dollar price tag, so this sale was nice.
