Anyone know if they ever patched the handheld frame-rate issues in City Undercover? Does Marvel Super Heroes suffer from the same dips?
That's an amazing price for Lego City Undercover.
Any word on if the UK are getting the same deals soon?
As a tip: if you get LEGO worlds... Disable automatic cloud backups. The save file size is in gigabytes with that game...
Nice sale prices (even if LEGO games go on sale all the time). This is why I say never buy a LEGO game at launch, a deep discount is about as sure a bet as you can make.
This comes at a nice time for me tho. My daughter just got a Switch Lite and Cars & Incredibles will likely get added to her collection.
Can I ram into other cars by flicking the right control stick?
FYI, North America consists of more than the USA
Was thinking about picking up Harry Potter Collection on physical? Does anyone here have any input on the game? I would imagine it's a fun as most LEGO games are.
@TDRsuperstar2 Harry Potter is similar to the other LEGO games. Lots of levels to explore and things to collect and unlock. You use a spell wheel to choose different spells to use. And there is a ton of content since it is a port of both of the Wii games.
@Tandy255 I figured as much. I can get the physical for 15.99 with BB Gamersclub account. I may just pull the trigger as I haven't really purchased a lot of games Q1.
@TDRsuperstar2 of your an HP fan like myself you will absolutely love it! It's my favourite lego game as I'm a big fan. As it's one of the older lego games there is no voice acting in it tho but that shouldn't deter you.
Welp I can finally get lego city now.
A man has fallen into the river in Lego City.
@Robo-Knight start the new rescue helicopter
I’ve been tempted to get Lego Harry Potter but with it being one of the first Lego games without the voice acting and lower detail I’ve held off, possibly get the sky walker saga when that drops but I’ll see how that fairs out
I couldn't get into Lego Marvel & Lego Star Wars. World anyone still recommend Lego Undercover to me?
My kids have been begging for Lego Harry Potter, but I find the Lego games boring
LEGO City Undercover truly is one of my favorite games of all time. You really owe it to yourself to play it now, if you never have. Just superb stuff.
Loved LEGO City. Hated Incredibles. Does anything else come close to the former, but far away from the latter?
@TDRsuperstar2 I agree with @tandy255 and @Kidfunkadelic83. It is as fun as the other Lego games. some things to note is that Lego Harry Potter is one of the older Lego games, by that I mean it is a bit different than the newer Lego games in terms of style. Years 5-7 is a bit more open than 1-4, years 1-4 being released in 2010 and 5-7 in 2011). The game does not include voice-over of any kind. Also it is a straight up port. Sometimes the camera angles hinder me. but all in all, I still like it a lot.
Lego city Undercover is the best of the Lego games and is a steal at that price.
@guamyankee I agree but I thought it ran extremely poorly on the switch with constant frame rate issues
@presenttense I played it a bit over a year ago on switch but I never noticed the framerate issues.
@Kidfunkadelic83 @TekSone I decided to pick it up. The last LEGO game I played was Batman 3. At 17 dollars I feel this is a steal.
@guamyankee maybe they patched it. It drove me crazy and I’m not usually bothered with things like that
@TDRsuperstar2 I dont think you will be disappointed. If you've followed the books or the films like I have then you will love the game. Some classic lego tongue in cheek humour in a magical world. I'd have grabbed it too if the sale had been in the UK as the last time I had it was on ps4.
@Kidfunkadelic83 awesome! I’m a huge Harry Potter fan. I’ve read all the books twice and seen the movies 100 times. I think the combination of the new LEGO show and the SyFy has a HP marathon makes me itching to get at this.
@TDRsuperstar2 then you will love the game and get all the humour and most of all understand what's going on,especially with the lack of any voice overs.
I wish everyone who lives in North America got these prices...
@TDRsuperstar2 good choice, have fun
@WaffleKnight Hey!
Anyone not seeing LEGO is a Nintendo power game should go and play Atari only from here on out.
Please port the old lego star wars, Indiana Jones and Lego Marvel and then we'll talk
@jwfurness Not sure about City Undercover, but Marvel Super Heroes 2 is still choppy. Bought it recently was pretty disappointed with the performance.
...One of these days I'll play a Lego game. lol
LEGO City or LEGO Marvel 2? Help me decide.
Lego City Undercover is a steal at $11.99. Easily one of the funniest video games I played last decade.
Great prices, I've been lucky enough to get most of these from Best Buy for around these prices.
@CosmoXY If you only choose one I'd pick Lego City Undercover easily. Lego Marvel 2 is great but the voice acting isn't up to par with the rest of the series. The game is still good, but Lego City is easily the better game in my opinion. That said I own both including the Lego Marvel 2 DLC.
@Link41x Technically you could always create a new profile attached to a North American eShop account on your Switch. Should be a little more straightforward than creating a Japanese eShop account and profile.
@FatHedgehog Lego City deserves a sequel in my opinion. I like the Lego Marvel games and Lego Jurassic Park but maybe just because of the source material.
Oh cool... love LEGO games on Switch!
@Nico07 That is not the problem. I live in Canada and NL is trying to pass these clearly US deals as NA wide and it isn't. They need to just call them US deals and that is it.
I bought my kids Lego Harry Potter for Valentine's Day.
Great Choice! They've been loving it!
