"What exactly do you do at work?" our future children ask.
"Share videos of slimy fictional monsters designed to help people relax, dear child," we reply.
"And this is considered a real job?" they wonder.
"Apparently."
Yes, today we bring you a video we'd never have expected to see, but one that will no doubt pique your curiosity just a little, even if you don't want to admit it.
The Pokémon Company has shared a new ASMR video to its Pokémon Kids TV YouTube channel, this time featuring a Grimer sliding around over a number of different surfaces. "This is an ASMR video for those who have always wondered how Grimer sounds when it moves," the description says. We're not sure how many people fall into that category, but let's go with it.
Our favourite moment comes at the 1:30 mark, when Grimer gets sucked up through a tube and exits with a satisfying splat on the wall. Headphones are recommended "for optimal effect".
Weirdly enough, this isn't the first time we've been treated to a gaming-related ASMR video. The Pokémon Company also shared a Charmander video recently, there was a Zelda: Breath of the Wild one, and there was even a video of someone playing Switch by the fireplace and making a sandwich.
Have fun!

Instead of this video, they could've animated Grimer in SWSH.
not the best animation, but man do those sounds make it hard to stop listening lol
In the words of the great Ivan Ooze: when you've got your ooze the fun never stops!
I laughed through this whole thing. Haha!
Ok, But why ....and why did it go for soooo long
@Abes3 Awesome ASMR Done Quick
Man this is hot
That’s... mildly uncomfortable. Eesh.
Some of the sounds sound like they were ripped from a hub video.
Ah so... this is where the extra time and budget went into the "Improved animations" for Sword and Sheald... ok...
yes this is a joke
Sorry, I don't get it.
I have have never wondered how Grimer sounds when it moves, but now I know. Kind of makes me want TPC to put this amount of detail into their next game. It would definitely add to the atmosphere and make it feel more real
One of the best headlines I've ever seen on this site
