Can you believe that in less than three weeks' time, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will have been out for three years? Three whole years! Despite this, new tricks and glitches are seemingly discovered every other day, and now we have yet another to admire.
The latest glitch flings Link towards an enemy in combat, seemingly doing so regardless of how far away that enemy might be. You can see it in action in the clips below; see how Link charges forwards as if he's been launched out of a cannon:
So, how does it all work? Well, according to Polygon, players need to enter "bullet time" while pressing 'Y' at the same time as they pull out their bow (we didn't say it was straightforward), and Link will then teleport towards the enemy. We'll never understand how players figure this stuff out, but we're certainly glad that they do.
Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 really can't come soon enough!

There was always a degree of pull you had when executing a successful flurry rush, but you needed to still be somewhat near the enemy.
Now you can do it at any distance that has something targetable, and perhaps still requiring an opening to counter.
This has potential to break certain shrine puzzles, or otherwise optimise movement for speedruns, should be fun.
This is an amazing find. This game is hands down the best video game ever made. Nintendo is the gods of gaming.
Has it really been three years, already?! Wow!
I am really hoping the sequel comes out in 2020. I don't plan to get a PS5 or Series X until a few months after release (to make sure there are no glaring hardware defects with the new systems). A BotW sequel would be enough to tie me over until then.
One of the things I'm most excited for in BotW 2 is that there will be even more crazy exploits, glitches and other neat things like this. If we're still finding things in the original, imagine how much will be crammed into the sequel.
Hmmm only 1 extra button press and this one has remained hidden until now?
And with this Link surpasses every FE character as "Most Anime Swordsman" in Smash.
This "glitch" doesn't look like it needs fixing.
I can just see these kinds of people testing this out. Hmm, if I press Y at the same time I take out my bow then... Holy Crap that was awesome. What if I do Y while throwing a bomb... Switch explodes.
Reminds me of those aerial dashes on Dissidia Final Fantasy. Always weird how everybody could "fly"
Seems like the game is being tricked out of doing the regular distance check for a flurry rush.
Jumping and pulling out the bow, thereby manually activating the "bullet time", apparently forces the game to assume that you're close enough to pull of the rush, and it subsequently moves you over there.
Timing probably has to be pretty exact, but this is a cool abuse.
Zoooooom.
Ping!
I think I've done this a few times by mistake. Didn't think it was a glitch though.
@mesome713 I have come to believe this is the best game of all time, if you had asked me a year ago, I would have told you I didn’t like it.
That's a nice find.
